Four more payments at $835 on a 36 month note. Then we'll have a couple yrs to save for the insurance when we add the kids.

I was going to get my wife a larger vehicle before we added another kid but it's just not worth it with these prices. We're going to drive both of our cars until they won't drive any longer.

Our youngest started driving last year so we gave her my wife's 12 yr old Honda and got her a new one. The insurance on a 16-17 yr old sucks

I'll drive something else in the future. I'm not paying 50k for an XLT.

My only note is $530 at 0% and includes factory 3X warranty. 1.5 yr left on note. Hope to be done w car pmts. Maybe lease an EV for driving to town and in-law trips, 100 miles away. And other short trips.

Have an ex that has an $800 note. Find it funny that she has turned into a progressive loon and her daddy makes the $800 payment and the $220 insurance for her.

That's actually about what I'm paying for the wife's car but the real payment is 270 and some change. I'm just paying it off early and I'm almost there

Paid off 2007 (300k miles) and 2015 (150k). Both are Hondas and just getting broke in.

Likewise.

I drive a 2020 (though I bought in the fall of 2019) and while I realize there's nicer vehicles out there again, at least it's paid for (same for my lady's vehicle). frick debt.

But a new vehicle right now? No way, not at those metrics.

I would never pay that much for a vehicle.

Went through a similar situation with my son starting to drive not long ago. He got another family members 12 year old vehicle as well. Insurance for a young male driver is just stupid expensive.

Man I love accords. Not a baw car lol, but you can’t kill them. Put 220k miles over 12 years on one and it was still humming when I sold it. Just did the scheduled service and no major issues.
