I buy high-quality used vehicles for cash. frick a car payment. I don’t need a pick up truck for work. I have a Lexus ES, and I’ll drive that for probably 15 years.

$314 a month and I just successfully convinced my youngest not to take on a $700 a month truck note.

Truck note is like $675 a month but my work gives me a fixed stipend of $915 a month plus mileage.. so I come out ahead. If I didn’t have that then I’d sell it tomorrow.

I was making $758/month payments in 1999 on my F-350 baw. Financed it for 24 months and paid it out in under a year and a half putting $900 every payment. Sticker price on fully loaded 7.3L powerstroke then was right under $37k

$739/month sounds low.

Is that what poor people are paying these days?
