If Ole Miss is that school that can lure really good players away, then we need to learn how to do it.
Ole miss is putting a lot of chips in for 2024. They should. I think it pays off for them too.
But If Tampering is legal then bk needs to tamper.
We will lose guys like this, but it’s only okay if we play dirty back.
Otherwise it will never be our year.

The semester just ended a few weeks ago. If he did have an issue with grades, it wouldn’t become apparent until after the semester ended. And you wouldn’t typically get wind of it until something like this happens - i.e. not traveling with the team.

If he had the flu that would immediately come with "he didnt make the trip" right from the horses mouth. Why say he isnt here and not just simply say he is sick?

Emery Jones will play inside at the next level so that’s why people say go ahead and let Jones get comfortable at G and let Heard play RT which is where he most likely would play in the NFL just by looking at his body type. He screams big mauling RT.

With what they return, their portal additions, and their schedule they are very likely to make the 12 team playoff. Unless they have an Aggie style implosion it’s almost a lock that they make it.

Look at it logically and the era we’re living in. Three-four years ago I’d say he’s sick or grades are bad.
But this is the wild, Wild West of semi-pro ball. Not making the trip and no ready explanation only means bad news for the home team.
Tampering, NIL, cash, handlers, street agents and the portal are the most likely toxic reasons.
Add to that an old school coach who is trying fit a square peg (Notre Dame values) into a round hole (SEC team) and it’s a recipe for fan frustration, if not disaster.
