This is what they do ALL the time. If it's something they want to believe, then they take it in as absolute fact. You can believe that just off of that one nobody poster saying it is the flu, they will run to every thread and spread is like it's gospel. Simply because that's what they want to be true.
The truly special ones will even take something somebody says and then twist it into meaning whatever it is they want to believe.
It's a special gift to be as simple as some posters on here are.

As opposed to running with a story that he is transferring when it was based solely on his not traveling with the team to the bowl? I didn’t see anybody post any evidence of this being the case. Just because that would be a possibility doesn’t mean you run with that and say stuff like “good riddance.” It may end up being true, but it’s not because all the negative Nancy’s knew it to be true. The countless examples of the Rant running with all kind of crap stories that were not even close to true is endless.

I didn't say believing one was any better than the other. Most normal people would just wait and see for some credible info to come out before rushing to any judgement.

I agree.
The new era is all about player empowerment, I cant blame kids for taking advantage of it (though in reality, its them being taken advantage of)
Hope its something resolvable, but I would rather a kid move on than be disgruntled.

frick these entitled kids. Dude played in every game as a true freshman and can’t wait his turn to play LT. Campbell got that spot locked down, Heard would easily start next year at a guard and move to LT after Campbell or Jones goes pro. Kid is money chasing and probably doesn’t come from much so I’m not hating but damn it’s hard to get excited for recruits when half of them are going to transfer.
