This latest hurdle the OP talked about is $27,000,000 in state and federal funds...not the first or the last such money going into this project.
If you pay taxes it can be classified as a "we" project.

The nearest I-20 exit is the new one at Tarbutton Road. I kept thinking the local government would change the name of the road, but nothing so far. Tarbutton Road just screams welcome to Hicksville.
