Colorado signed 5 HS kids today

They do still have one more possible, the #1 OT in the country has been committed to them but he decided not to sign today, currently thinking about flipping to Maryland
They do have commitments from 16 transfer kids, 9 of which have only 1 year left of eligibility
These are totally the actions of a coach building for the future, and definitely not the actions of a coach planning to bolt the minute Shedeur and Hunter are done playing

Prime is in win now mode and understands it will take years with mostly high school kids. Portal is the shortcut

Not a good way to build a program, even with the transfer portal.

The #1 OT in the country is between Colorado and Maryland? ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconconfused.gif)

Deion will be gone in next 2 yrs when his boys are gone, that’s why he is building this team thru the portal in win now mode and has no depth just like last yr, not how to build a sustainable program

Deion only gives a shite about getting his sons to the league with the best draft position possible. Everyone else are pawns and can’t believe they keep falling for his crap.

If he’s the #1 OT torn between Colorado and Maryland….he’s a fricking retard.

Maybe I misunderstood you? This is not building for the future at all, but a coach who wants to win now.

CU may have been the worst team in America when Deion got there. They may also be the worst when he leaves.

It's an impressive transfer class, where he possibly added double digit starters. They have some good size in the trenches and some great skill position players. It's a 7-8 win team in the big 12.
All that matters for them is next year. They should be good and make a bowl. Do people believe they will be bad next season?

If Deion is looking to bolt after next season, maybe he should try boosting his stock by having his team not be crappy. If next season is a failure, what better destination would want him?

It looks like Deion is using my old strategy on NCAA football when I was trying to rebuild horrible teams.
I would only go after 4 and 5 star guys. At the end, when I only had like 3 guys signed, I would fill out the rest of the roster with random 1 & 2 star guys. It takes a few years, but eventually it works out that my recruiting improves, and eventually win multiple championships.
The only issue with this strategy is it comes from a video game. So that's very bold of Deion to try it in real life

Prime cares about next year.
Trying to get Shedeur to number 1. Then he will try to go to his team in the pros and bring along Shiloh.
It’s what he has done every step of the way b
He is clearly in try to win next year and who cares about after.
