he gets a ton of (deserved) crap for that, but he's been a deserved mainstay in CFB for 20+ years.

for dudes in their late 30s and 40s, there's nothing that will touch the memory of watching GameDay in the 2000s and 2010s every Saturday morning.

I didn’t care for Pat at first but I like him on the show now.

I like Herbstreit but his departure would totally be worth it to be rid of McAfee.

But both of them are all talk. McAfee keeps crying like a titty baby that the poor college football fans hurt his wittuhl feewins. But no one turns down that kind of money. How else will he be able to afford his Mr. T starter kit and tank tops that display his self-insecurity?

I like Pat on College Gameday. You can tell that Kirk had fun this year, so not surprised to see him conveying that to Pat.

I had never heard Pat McAffee as a media person before he appeared on CGD last year. I didn't like him at first, but since his show has started to appear on ESPN I've caught a bit of it particularly when he interviews someone interesting. I have to admit, he is actually pretty good. I think he is actually one of the better interviewers out there right now. He gets people to relax and open up. And his show is just entertaining. I think people have gotten too uptight about sports. I was probably one of them. McAfee has grown on me.
