When you place a bet for him to win it in the offseason, I’d say you thought he had a chance to win it.
I placed that bet.

I never thought Burrow would either when he transferred in, so there's that.

I put money money where my mouth was. I Bet a $100 future bet on Draft kings to win $1,200. Feels like it should be more!

When he first came to LSU? Of course not. No one did. But no one expected Joe to win the Heisman when he first came to LSU, either. The only people who get that kind of hype right off the bat are ultra 5* incoming recruits.

Heck after game 1 I thought he should be benched…

That is why I’m never going to be a winning coach in the NCAA… but if someone wants to fire me they are more than welcome to!

I was never at all a Jayden hater like some were on this board were over the past year. I thought he would do very well this year, but this good? Hell no. Kid impressed the hell out of me. Kudos to him. He's earned the Heisman.

when he first came to LSU? Just unbelievable how two years have changed. He’s a warrior, very deserving! Congrats JD.

I’m not very surprised at all. A QB that uses his legs has a huge advantage in the heisman race.

JD has always been an elite open field runner.

Pays $525 if he gets the trophy. They'll pay me $400.36 to walk away right now. I'm riding it out.

So you're risking $375 for $125? You never know what's going to happen with stupid Heisman voters.

Not I.

But full disclosure, after JD’s OT play vs Bama last year my son turned to me and said “that kid is winning the Heisman next year.”

ok. And gamblers make bets they don’t believe in?
I bet on JD and Nix. I didn’t bet on Caleb Williams or Drake May or Ewers b/c I didn’t believe they’d win.

There’s no better way to prove that you believed someone would win the Heisman in the preseason than by putting your money where your mouth is.

I have a bet slip for $100 on Sept 20th. I was just late placing the bet. My Roommate placed one before the season.
