re: Blake is a rental at this point.

Yup and even Lane is a probably a rental. I would not bet on him retiring here.

I probably won’t but I agree with the sentiment. I’ll be pulling for them to win, a lot. Perhaps when Lane runs off to the Cowboys we can bring Baker in (if he’s ready for it).

Exactly
Agreed completely. If he wanted to stay at Ole Miss, it’d already be over. If he didn’t want to finish it out with this team, it’d already be over.
Either way it goes he’s being demonized for doing what most would want to do.

Right?
I think the hard part comes into wanting to leave for a better opportunity but not wanting to leave the kids before they finish their season

Okay I’m on board now, get him signed!
I’d actually prefer if he finished the season with them before coming if they’d let him. If Ole Miss says no - it ain’t on Lane at that point
No pitty for the mfn kitty… hell yeah
Not who I’d expect but I wouldn’t be devastated by the pick. I feel like he’s going to be a great head coach one day, I just don’t know if it’d be the right move to start his head coaching career here.
how did I know this post was going to be this GIF?

holy hell you're dumb

:spank:
Eh I was just having fun with the 2 week response time ??

Not agreeing with either one of you, but sheesh 2 weeks to respond and this is the best you can do?
To be clear I’m teasing - just thought it was funny to see a response to a sh** name calling post posted 2 weeks ago. Also mind blowing that their only contribution is to call someone a dumbass.
re: Joe was on First Take this morning! Where were the LSU fans?

I’m good with this hire. Next year will be very difficult for him to have a lot of success but years 2-5 should start getting really good. Curious if he fights to sign Jeanty

Depends .. which son ??
re: Why did the Colts let go of Gus Bradley? I don’t think their defense was the issue.

definitely doesn't help a defense when the offense is ranked 30th in time of possession
agreed completely
They chose to play for a rival, even if they were processed out - Tiger Bait.

Historically the bowl games have had meaning - especially to us old(er) fans. However, this has been going on for a long time now and these bowl games just don't mean anything anymore. I feel like there was a realization that the bowl games have become more about making money than competition between some well deserving schools. If the bowl games are all about the dollar and we're okay with that, we should be okay with players being worried about the $ they could lose getting injured. A solid bowl game performance isn't likely to impact the $ they can earn going forward, but a bowl game injury will definitely impact the $ they can earn going forward.
That said - I'm super proud of the guys who do elect to play, but it no longer hurts my opinion of them if they elect not to.

Personally I'm glad he is an idiot ...
That OT performance by Burrow and Higgins may have helped me win my fantasy championship  I'm in a screwed up league at work that locks after the first game of the week and I lost Chubba Hubbard to IR after the roster lock. The two of them hooking up for 3 TDs and Joe adding a 4th gave me enough points that I think I can overcome the lack of one of my RBs
