Mine jumped 25% when my 6 month policy renewed in July.

Mysteriously, when I called them to discuss the drastic jump it dropped back down to the prior cost the next month.

Bastards.

And the companies are reporting record profits. Coincidence?

Frick these companies.

They never gave the credit they should have during Covid. Their risk was probably cut in half during that period.

I’d like to see some collision data of 2019 vs 2020.

Tennessee. Mine has nearly doubled in the past 18 months. Next 6 month premium is over $1,000 for a 2007 Corolla.

I just got notified of an increase, despite an old shitty vehicle, no claims in years, and a clean record.

Illegals with no insurance factor in as well. When I lived in corpus I paid twice what fort worths was. They had as many wrecks as a city three times it's size, and a majority of them were uninsured/underinsured.

I moved from LA to Minnesota in Jan. My premium was cut in half when I updated my address.

I always knew LA rates were ridiculously high, but considering I now have to drive in ice and snow 4-5 months of the year it seems even more ridiculous.

Who among us will think of these poor insurance companies? Surely they are running at a loss across the board with these coordinated price hikes. Will the CEOs and execs even get paid?

LA - BS about the -6%.
I am seeing rates up 25% to 100% with no accidents, claims in NOLA and the Northshore right now.
