Levi stermer and his cheating scandal

Everything that family has done has been suspect. Listening to them talk oozes politician/used car lot salesmen.

I Don’t know Levi but the way Mark Stermer handled the “transition” of CLA to TCA to later closing and being sold out was amateur hour at best.

Had meeting at school with kindergarten-12th and told them their school would be closing during the school year. Hey pal how about mention this to children’s parents first so they can break the news to the kids? The parents found out via text messages from kids at school.

No. You are dumb to believe that homemade roux is superior to jar roux. Same shite. One is already made. Unless you change the fat to duck fat, lard, bacon grease etc, flour and oil is flour and oil. I make plenty of roux but I'll use a jarred if it's there.

I agree. I have made plenty of roux in my lifetime. I can promise you no one can tell if I made
Homemade roux or used Karys dry jar roux unless they witnessed the cook.

Yes I was born and raise in south Louisiana, I can make a roux from scratch and don’t use tomatoes in gumbo or jambalaya.

Its just too easy to use a roux that someone has already made and put in a jar.

These prices will bring the white boots of Pierre Part out in full force. Hopefully the spillway has enough water to allow fishermen to get into the woods.

I mean, ok. But it can't be both ways. The whole living wage argument vs public assistance. If you're an employer paying below the minimum, you're essentially part of the problem. Right?

Guy. You're not making sense. YOU mentioned food stamps. Minimum wage has nothing to do with it. You're not looking as smart as you think.

You implied I was paying employees below min and I was part of the problem. I was responding to your idiotic thought with facts.

Sao
For once we agree on something. Yes already boiled crawfish sales are propped up by EBT program. It’s the sole reason the state removed the can’t buy hot prepared food rule.

I’m not shocked that EBT pays for bugs, I’m pissed that it does. At these current prices eating crawfish is a luxury. If you can’t see EBT to purchase $9lb boiled crawfish as ridiculous then please say so and I will then realize the person you are.
The idea that someone who needs taxpayer assistance to get thru life doesn’t have to make necessary lifestyle adjustments because they get “free” money if what bothers me.
It these types of decisions that people live on government assistance.
And before you mention, yes I realize people fall on hard times and need these programs. However, they are also the ones who don’t become lifelong government dependents and also are not buying $9lb boiled crawfish.

Again WTF are you talking about???

Min wage was not then and is not now $12 in Louisiana. What public assistance are you talking about?
Please enlighten all of us what public assistance you speak of? YOU are the only one who seems to have trouble understanding what I’m talking about in this post which tells me you are probably in the group who will be enjoying your tax payer crawfish.

Sao,
What I the hell are you talking about?
Please quote where I said I paid below minimum wage. I’ll wait…

The workers in question made $10-$14 an hour 12 years ago.

Enjoy your food stamp crawfish Sao.

Well, looks like I won't be having many this year

Same here. But I can tell you who will not miss a beat eating….
Those paying with food stamps!
A few years back I had a group of employees around Thanksgiving talking about going pick up crawfish. I’m thinking to myself, I know what I pay you, how in the hell are y’all getting crawfish. Finally I ask and all in unison they respond, FOOD STAMPS.

Yes I’m jealous. Just like this year when price is high I do without. Well those with a government card needed to help them meet essential household needs don’t shy away from buying anything with free money. ??

I can’t imagine it took #18’s post bowl game interaction to expose the disconnect. BK had to see it along with anyone close to program.

re: Last W this season?

I agree. Last night it seemed he had two different teams on court not just rotating a player or two in.

My only hope is he is trying to find his starting rotation?? Baker had one of his better games but he appears too soft for sec play. I’d ride with Dean.

My thoughts as well.

I live near this corridor, and this is by far the biggest issue!!! Assholes doing 35MPH and people pulling out from neighborhoods. They can't four lane this soon enough!

Same.
People leaving neighborhoods barely even make a rolling stop. The cop at U club just sits there and watches this every weekday am.
Yes it sucks your neighborhood developer built so many houses with one exit onto a busy two lane highway but no need to endanger yourself or others. Wait a minute or two for break in traffic.

Also, a bit further down Hwy 30 St Gabriel cops would rather sit on shoulders near red lights looking for inspection stickers while cars line up sometimes a half mile to mile at poorly synced red lights. How you you do the SERVE part of your duty and grab the light clicker and help traffic flow in the afternoons!
-6% in Louisiana huh? Certainly not for myself or anyone that I’ve spoken to.
