Was that the game where they kept talking about SC black death defense over and over and Hodson just ate them alive.

There is no chance he plays in the bowl game. And he absolutely shouldn’t play in the bowl game.

Aaron Rogers, a nearly 40 year old man, just got cleared to practice after tearing his Achilles this season.

I’m not really sure what the argument of sitting out really is anymore.

Because bowl games are apparently WAAAYYY more dangerous than a regular game. Regular season game...play him. Bowl game...sit him!!!

I think he’ll play, even if it’s just for a half

Notre Dame makes the game a good draw.

Jayden and Malik play for about a half.

Its not rocket science. Its all about the timing.

- Get injured in the bowl game
- Ruin draft process
- Lose at best 1-2 rounds of draft position and millions of dollars

Daniels has a shot at being QB3 top 10 overall. The cost-benefit does not favor playing.

That said, i hope he plays enough to get record and secure victory.

There are times in life where you act in order to prevent the worst case scenario.

And from LSU’s perspective what really can be better than a top ten qb draft pick?

Why risk a career ending injury right before becoming a multi millionaire? No fricking way

Why take a plane ride to NYC? The plane could crash. Why get in a car and ride on the interstate? You could crash into an 18 wheeler.

JD is a character guy and he wants to get Malik the record. He’s playing.

For his sake I hope he doesn’t because I’d be heartbroken if something happened to him to screw up his draft stock, but I tend to agree.

On the bright side we aren’t playing Bama and I highly doubt Notre Dame will be intentionally trying to hurt JD.

For me, I would rather play someone else. Iowa or N.C. State.

Same here. I have no interest in playing ND.
We all know why we are playing them, and sure it'll draw viewers to see BK take on his old team, but i would imagine just about every LSU fan would rather play someone else. Just feels like we've played ND enough over the last few years and I'd like to play someone different. Would love a PAC team, or and ACC team. Anyone but ND or a Big10 team.

And no i'm not scared of fricking ND. They've beaten us the last two times in bowl games on last minute scores, and i don't think anyone gives a shite that that happened.

Again based on that logic, why didn’t JD5 just opt out following the Bama loss? Why is the bowl game SO much more dangerous??? Y’all are making it sound like JD would be lucky to escape certain injury if he plays. The bowl game injury “fear” with some of you are a tad bit excessive.

“Meaningless” is a word thrown around extremely loosely now. If LSU lining up vs BK’s former blue blood program means nothing to you then this sport ain’t for you.

Meaningless would mean the records doubt count. This game wouldn’t count towards win loss totals. Any stats accumulated in this game wouldn’t count. So if Nabers goes in and breaks the all time receiving yards record for LSU then it doesn’t count?

Get fricking real people. Every game that the purple and gold play in means something. Now it might not mean the same as a national championship but it still matters. Don’t be such a pussy with that “meaningless” mindset. Go watch soccer or be a Georgia bandwagon fan.

Securing victory with LSU defense in the mix means Jayden will definitely have to play the entire game.

ND's Jaden Greathouse will light up our defensive backs like a Christmas tree....he's another Keon Coleman...only better! That being said if we gonna win we got to score 48 or better.
