It would be far too bad of optics to revoke his credentials.
But since he's not affiliated with LSU in any way and is an opinion columnist (not a beat writer), he should be forced to change his twitter handle.

Cory Diaz is at almost every press conference, hasn’t stirred the pot since the BG saga questions though (for now)
Anyways I’m cracking up at all the drama going online over reese. Truth be told beyond lsu fans, none of these people could give a shite about reese, they just want the tea and Kim ain’t giving it to them

Mulkey is an incredible coach but we can’t deny she likes the drama. She created that sound byte on purpose

Here's a hot take:
If that was a different National Championship winning coach, some of you would accuse the local media of treating him with kid gloves when you disagree with the way he is handling the program.
Glenn just isn't afraid to ask the question that most people want to hear. Believe it or not, that is what makes him a good journalist.
Journalists shouldn't be cheerleaders. They should have a slightly adversarial relationship to those they cover.

My hot take is that you don’t know the history of GG otherwise you wouldn’t have this hot take…

Holy hell, what a stupid post. The AD might have to step in, good God man, some of y'all are crazy.

I was always taught that you can ask any question, as long as you do it politely. You might not like the answer, but you’re free to ask.
The problem with Guilbeau is that he is not asking the question from the standpoint of objectivity. That makes the question, by its nature, impolite. If he was an objective journalist, it would be different. But he’s not. So he gets the answer he gets.

Except that the question was already asked after the last game and she gave the same repsonse she is giving now. I can guarantee you GG hasn't been to one women's BB game since she got hired until last night.

That was the best thing ever. He was speechless.

Kim Mulkey is a bad arse bitch. She smelt a beta in the room and she attacked. Good for her.

I read where he said the public demands or deserves to know, or something to that effect.
WHERE does it say it’s anybody’s business besides Angel’s, Coach’s, and the teams?
Just a bunch of self entitled busy bodies, that’s all this is.

Yea, people want journalists to ask real questions, until they don’t.
Weird

quote:Slightly? Guilbeau (I don't know him so I will refer to him by last name) seems to have a more than slightly adversarial relationship with LSU. He is a hit man of sorts when it comes to covering LSU, which is fine. People would be writing about Angel Reese not playing regardless, but Guilbeau and his schtick, which Mulkey was alluding to when she asked which reporters had covered the fewest games, stands out like a sore thumb. Mulkey's press conference was a master class on how to handle the media, which is not surprising considering the things she has had to deal with in the past. She didn't tell them anything she didn't want to, and pointed out that much of what had been reported was speculation. She completely controlled the press conference.

Glenn means HE demands it and HE deserves to know. All he does is stir the pot over and over coz that's the only way he gets attention. He's gonna keep asking the same question different ways and try to bait Mulkey or getting her ticked off so he can write what a mean horrible person she is. But this is not her first rodeo, she will put him in the corner for timeout.

Dayuum! She sat his arse down.

His attacks against Dale & Broadhead were a lot more vicious & longer in duration, so if he kept his credentials then, he won't lose them over this. But guessing he will stay far away from CLM. He's been called the Paul Finebaum of reporters, just a lot cheaper version. And note that Finebaum uses hm as his source on everything LSU.

Like a BOSS!
It is an overused saying. I’m not a big fan of it but in this case it fits.
Think about Alexis Morris. Mulkey showed that girl the door TWICE. She came back and became a huge star on last years team. These kids have to love this coach. She is leadership….like a BOSS.
