Meh. She didn't really go off of him. She probably definitely made him feel a little awkward. But in the end she just said if you were here for the last one (which he was) I'm just gonna say the same thing. Which she did. Reading the title I was expecting a little Sabanesque type reply.

If that was a different National Championship winning coach, some of you would accuse the local media of treating him with kid gloves when you disagree with the way he is handling the program.

Glenn just isn't afraid to ask the question that most people want to hear. Believe it or not, that is what makes him a good journalist.

Journalists shouldn't be cheerleaders. They should have a slightly adversarial relationship to those they cover.

except GG isnt a journalist any more, he is a pundit writing his opinions on things. CKM does not owe GG anything

This is some funny shite. SW doesn't want any part of taking on CKM. He may have the title, but she would embarrass his arse and send him to pick up her dry cleaning.

I’ll defend a reporter who isn’t just kissing arse and actually asks questions that should be asked, over a coach with a giant ego who thinks they are God, any day of the week.

If Saban did this to some reporter at Alabama, people on here would trash him. Seems the guy just showed up and asked what every single one of us have been wondering. Good for him.

The way people are reacting to this is 100% about biases towards the people involved.

ETA: people want his credentials pulled

His first mistake was embarrassing her about them having met before. Obviously she doesn’t remember, so you calling her out is just a bad look.

I don't think he embarrassed her. I thought the opposite. If she met him, she didn't remember him. He didn't stand out.

If someone really wants to know if Angel is going to practice, they could camp out at the facility and watch for her. Once inside, you wouldn't know if she's actually practicing or not, though.

I'm a little surprised I haven't read about any "Angel sightings".

100% the truth. This is about people loving KM and hating Guilbeau.

Journalists don’t exist to kiss the arse of the people they cover. Their job is to keep people honest. Objectively, Kim looks way worse here. She’s acting like a dictator.

and all the commotion about Glenn only directs more people to go see what he wrote and increase his "clicks" or "views". Enriching him in the process. He gets paid to create controversy and write opinions about it.

You're confusing investigative journalist covering government/politics/etc. with a sports opinion writer covering college athletics for entertainment purposes.

He showed up to spread gossip and try to get clicks for writing an article about controversy. He wasn’t there to cover the LSU-Texas Southern game. He admits he had been to the least amount of LSU women’s games than anyone else in that room.

He’s a lowlife who tries to make a living being the “anti-LSU guy” in Louisiana media.

It's HER team. She is a dictator, and she can protect it however she feels is best. Think Saban is not a dictator?

This isn't politics. It's a sports team, and the best ones have one person clearly in charge.

Saban has done this, on multiple occasions. And I don't think he got trashed as much as you think. Obviously some people will hate Saban no matter what, so he could walk on water and those people would find a problem with it.

Judging from your post, similarly to how you would find a problem with anything trump related.

She does look worse nor does she come off as dishonest.

She's supposed to be the dictator of the team, so it's good that you think she's acting like one.

Read between the lines with what that poster is saying. He's doing exactly what he claims everybody else is doing.

I'm not trying to bring that debate into this thread, but his mind has probably been made up about Mulkey a while ago if you read the tea leaves.

Coaches don’t answer those questions anymore than it’s already been answered and reporters know it.

It makes a reporter come across as either stupid or agenda driven to the coach

Dude, Glenn was just doing his job! If you call that little exchange going off, then you are soft. I commend him for asking questions that most reporters are too scared to ask. You guys have to realize he's not a cheerleader, he's a reporter and it's his job to ask the tough questions.

Angel Reese is the top story in regards to the women's basketball team, so kudos to him for asking the questions. What I picked up on was she already knew his name and that's the sign of a real reporter doing their job.

I promise you this: She will never forget his name and face from this point on because she knows he's one of those old school reporters that's going to ask the tough questions that other young reporters are too afraid to ask!

I find it hilarious that you would criticize a person for doing his job. You should be angry at the others for not asking the tough questions because that's their job! Mulkey is getting paid a lot of money and when she benches the star player, she needs to be asked about it, regardless if she gives some BS answer like she did with Glenn.

As a reporter, you have an obligation to ask the tough questions. Did you really want to hear what Mulkey had to say about a game in which they beat their opponent by 60?
