Wonder what Nashville and Salt Lake City mascots would be.

Salt Lake Sister Wives and Nashville Californians?
Terrible dad jokes. Sorry.

The group behind the Nashville MLB push has used Nashville Stars which was the name of the Nashville negro league team. Kind of unexciting.
A city with an identity of being the country music capital and their sports brands could be Titans, Predators and Stars.

We've been so focused on the heat pressed logos and tiny letters, we're just now noticing the pants are see through

MLBPA executive director Tony Clark said players are just as "frustrated" with the new MLB jerseys as everyone else.
On Tuesday, days before the start of spring training on Thursday, Clark said the Major League Baseball Players Association is working on behalf of the players to resolve the jersey issue ahead of Opening Day on March 28.
"We are on the phone with the requisite parties that are involved in making that decision because we aren't," Clark told reporters on Tuesday, according to The Athletic. "Hopefully, we can get some things done over the course of the next six weeks of spring training. Because I'd hate to be in a place where we're still having conversations about some of the challenges we have in that regard once the lights come on."

We’ve got spring training baseball on the menu this afternoon, Dodgers vs. Padres.
Man, it’s good to have baseball back.

Nashville makes zero sense to me. That would eat into the Braves market share of the region. Salt Lake I can kind of get. Charlotte even would make more sense unless you go Montreal.

It's almost like George Costanza was involved in the uniform design.

Back in my day we didn't even wear pants when we played.

Charlotte would also eat into the Braves market.

To be fair, the Braves’ market is massive. The southeast could handle a couple more teams. Nashville and Charlotte would be awesome locations. But like you said, lots of Braves fans in those areas that probably won’t completely embrace the local team.

At this point the group backing Nashville financially would have to back out for them to not get a team. There’s a ready made ownership group in a large, growing city that MLB clearly favors and wants into. It is a slam dunk to get a team whenever expansion actually happens

[Heyman] Before the Giants signed Jorge Soler, they made an offer to J.D. Martinez. Word is that he didn’t want to go there.

You mean to tell me that people with all the money in the world don't want to have their families live in the liberal hell scape of San Francisco?
