Right-hander Jordan Hicks and the San Francisco Giants are in agreement on a four-year, $44 million contract, sources told ESPN, with the plan being to convert him from the bullpen into a full-time starter.

Odd decision with his history.

I don't see him sticking in the rotation either.

Symptom of the inflated market for starting pitching. If he's passable as a SP then it's a huge bargain.

No reason to expect that to actually happen seeing as command is his major flaw.

Hader to the Astros, 5 years/$95 million. No deferrals.

Hope they put a clause in his contract for a 4-out save once in a while.

First one sucks

Like the idea of the second one, but I don't like the pullover aspect

Same. I’ll have to see it in person.

Just found out these are alternates

You might say they're just putting a little more black in Washington.

Half the teams already wear shitty arse ads on their uniforms. It looks tacky as frick. Some traditions should never have a price tag.

It sounds like the White Sox have quickly made a lot of progress getting a new stadium. And the Athletics are off to a rough start getting their new stadium in Las Vegas. Fisher may have to sell some shares of the team just come up with the money to build it.

According to

@thekapman

, the #WhiteSox pretty much have a "Done Deal" to build a new Ballpark in the 78 Development at the Corner of Roosevelt Road and Clark Street in Chicago's South Loop, a few miles north of Guaranteed Rate Field. Site is close to the Dan Ryan Expwy

Props to Field of Schemes for staying on the A’s trainwreck. Related: Trop land owner (Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc.) brought in respected Marnell Companies for renderings and consultation—conclusion was space is too limited for retractable roof design, so more room needed, but due to proximity to the airport, the planned resort can’t make up revenue (due to smaller footprint) by building higher. These obstacles in addition to Bally’s Corp. having no resources and A’s having provided no clues about its $1 billion contribution. If the A’s move happens at all, look to the Festival Grounds or Rio.

I'm assuming that's their city connect jersey. If so it is by far the worst of all of them.
