#2 Michigan had a BYE
#3 Ohio State beat Wisconsin
#4 Florida State beat Wake Forest
#5 Washington beat Stanford
#6 Oklahoma lost to Kansas
#7 Texas beat BYU
#8 Oregon beat Utah
#9 Alabama had a BYE
#10 Penn State beat Indiana
#11 Oregon State lost to Arizona
#12 Ole Miss beat Vanderbilt
#13 Utah lost to Oregon
#14 Notre Dame beat Pitt
#15 LSU had a BYE
Should move up to #13. I'm guessing that we don't jump Oklahoma though.

Beat Bama and we’ll be in the top 10 with a month to go. Just keep winning and with enough chaos we’ll have time to get into the top 4.

Having not played this week, I can see them only moving us up 1 spot with someone like Louiseville jumping us to #13.

6-2 LSU was ranked 15/17 in the polls going into the Alabama game last year. They were, however, #10 in the CFP poll heading into that game.
By the final week of the regular season LSU was #5 in the CFP going into the game vs. A&M.
Many forget LSU was in nearly this exact same spot at this point last season and went into the final game of the regular season VERY MUCH with a chance to reach the playoffs.

If LSU can beat bama next week there are a lot of good top 10 match-ups that could move LSU up quite a bit.
6-2 Kansas St at #7 Texas - I really think K State wins this one
#3 Ohio St at 6-2 Rutgers - unlikely, but OSU doesn't look great (still wouldn't jump them even with a loss)
Aggie at #12 Ole Miss (would almost prefer OM win and lose next week to UGA)
#14 ND at Clemson - Dabo gets his signature win on a nightmare season
Previous #6 OU at Ok St - cowboys always play sooners tough
#10 Penn St at 5-3 Maryland - Maybe baby Tua gets an upset win
#5 Wash at 6-2 USC - Wash has been flirting with losses lately
If LSU pulls the win it could get very interesting

Second week in a row Washington shroud have lost. They will lose eventually same with Ohio State

Texas needed a bad spot to survive vs Houston. This week K State beat them 41-0.
K State won their last 3 games by a total of 120-24. They lost a close game to Mizzou and @ Ok St. Ewers may still be out for Texas as well.

LSU’s 2 losses will have been to a top 4 FSU and a top 10 Ole Miss..
I’d be shocked if we’re any lower than #12 in the CFP poll going into Bama (TV will push for it for ratings, but it’s a legit spot IMO)
