That I bought?

03 Xterra. Paid 4000 because the guy thought his wife's new xterra had a bent frame.

Turns out she broke a leaf spring hitting god knows what.

Repoaced suspension, added armor, put 35s on it, beat on it across the US for the next 250k miles.

Coolest feat... We drove it across the flooded bonneville salt flats.

1st car was a 4 door 1987 Chevy Cavalier in 1990. My grandmother paid $3000 for it, and I delivered pizzas and paid her back in about 6 months.

I lived off the tip money and mailed her every paycheck until it was paid for.

1966 VW Beetle w factory sunroof

$350

I realize 350 is a running joke here, but that was the actual price.

1999 Isuzu Rodeo in 2001.

Had around 15k miles on it but had absolutely nothing in it. 6 speed manual, 4 cylinder engine, no power locks or windows or seats, cloth interior, only a tape deck and radio. Complete bare bones. Believe I paid around $13k for it. Drove it like an idiot (was my first car), replaced multiple clutches, and ultimately it got totaled in a minor wreck that cracked the radiator at like 115k miles.

I've had three different Tahoes since and it's amazing how much the prices have increased over the last 15 years

2006 - bought 2004 z71 with 25k miles for $25k
2013 - bought 2008 LTZ with 60k miles for $30k
2021 - bought 2017 z71 with 25k miles for $50k

A 68 Chevelle SS 396 in 1996 for 5k. Older gentleman owned it before me and did a ton of work on it. It was a fun ride.. that same exact rebuilt car would go for a lot more these days!

97 Mazda B220 pickup. I paid $12,000 for it. Great truck. Never had an issue with it. Drove it all over the country.
