Stop sending our boys over to wars we don’t need to be in.

Frick the globalist warhawks of this country, and Raytheon, Northrop, and every other lobbying war machine in this nation.

I hate this POTUS and I want zero troops involved in this combat, BUT, the President of the United States was on the ground in a country at war….no surprise that we had SOF there at the time walking the obvious roped off areas

Hopefully our guys are only there to get the US citizens being held hostage. Rescue them, then GTFO

Yes but we will go in hard to get hostages. Hopefully we are sending tier 1 assets in to get our people then let the carrier groups just dissuade Hezbollah from fricking around

I wouldn't waste, spend, or risk a dollar or a life on those hostages. No rescues. No ransoms. No swaps.

Just move forward with retribution against Hamas without any consideration for them whatsoever.

I agree with everything you said northshore. I had an older brother who served in Vietnam. Why were our troops over there in the first place? What was the prize if the U.S. won? Lyndon Johnson is responsible for the thousands of young guys dying over there. We got out of Vietnam when Johnson left office. I firmly believe that if a country has problems, let that particular country solve it. We don't need to go over to another country to help them fix their problems. I still wonder why thousands of Americans died in Vietnam.

Simplify. Why would we send any money to Hamas at all? Oh, why we sent billions to Afghanistan after we left. Tards.

The guy looks like about 90% of civilian law enforcement officers patrolling in the US. Well, to be fair, he doesn’t have as many weapons.

Correct, both the pictures are with the soldier literally walking past the presidential motorcade in Tel Aviv.

It could be a paramilitary group hired to protect Israeli officials and/or buildings.

May not be military at all. Could be secret service.

I don't want to derail the thread, but I recently learned a lot about the circumstances that led up to Vietnam through some of my reading. The context was this:

We had faced down communism globally in the 15 years after WWII. We won in Italy (a much closer run thing than people realize now), Greece (also a close one), and S Korea was a stalemate win of a sort. We had lost the entire Eastern Bloc in Europe - what was supposed to be "free elections" were anything but with the Red Army supervising, and we had lost in China and then Cuba. Japan hung in the balance with communism, but keeping Emperor Hirohito in place stopped it. The global threat was real and metastasizing. Even so, Ike warned JFK not to get in too far in Vietnam.

JFK felt he had no choice. The real problem was how we fought the war. We were far too afraid of the Soviets and Chinese. We would not bomb everything from SAM sites to harbors and docks where we could see war material being unloaded for fear of killing Russian advisors. We actually warned the Russians through the Swiss at one point as to what the next day's bombing targets were to keep their advisors out of harm's way. How do you suppose they used that info? The war was micromanaged from DC, and that was LBJ and his cronies. Rules of engagement, cutting corners to hold down spending at the cost of lives, on and on.

You are right to blame LBJ. But had we fought that war gloves mostly off as we did in Korea, S Vietnam could well be another S Korea today.

I’m pretty sure that’s a Delta guy there in conjunction with potato heads visit.

There are spec ops in country in other locations as well. Has been since Sunday morning Israel time.
