For years I believed they would pull themselves up and assimilate into mainstream society.

Clearly not going to happen. The fatigue is real. Segregation being openly discussed by some of the black rocket scientists.

More and more normal Americans are saying fine.

Black dem women are not going to let a white woman over them anymore.

The two worst domestic flights I have ever had, unruly passengers, were flying to NO. One from Atlanta and one from Chicago.

Both Southwest. Both "it's always them Bobo", females. One arrested and too fat for cuffs. She got into it with flight attendant during safety briefing. Flight attendant black and not fat. Another passenger said queen accusing her of acting white. Screaming at passengers as they took her off plane.

As an aside, Patagonia makes some extremely high quality combat clothing for Special Force troops. They don't advertise that fact.

I've worked off shore, Army in field for weeks, corpses, etc., but worse was a Rouses in a nice neighborhood. With young son, maybe 5 or 6, when he announced at top of his lungs, "daddy, what's that smell? "

It hit me all of a sudden and first thought some one had spilled ammonia, but we weren't on cleaning supply aisle. A woman, fat but not much over 200 lbs. BO so bad you could taste it. One woman started gagging and others were walking away. Still can't believe an alive human could get that bad.

Brought to mind soldiers talking about a rag over face and mouth with a drop of gasoline to kill smell.

35 - 40 years ago in hospital to have an ocular implant, cataracts. About 5 patients in beds, drips in, etc., in some kind of pre staging area. A big chalk board with the procedures scheduled that morning.

Guy comes over and asks "are you the total knee replacement"?

I respond loudly no, ocular implant. He frowns, looks at his notes and leaves the room. The total knee is on the chalk board but he didn't look further.

Nurse gives me the sleepy shot and as I'm getting groggy another person comes up and asks "are you the total knee replacement "?

Next thing I remember is waking up, can't see, afraid my leg is being operated on. Heard my doctors voice "xxxx are you awake? Almost finished".

It happens more than you think.

Was a launch control specialist at a NATO site in W. Germany in 70s. Pershing 1A system, nuclear missile. During 4 minute countdown a key is brought to launch station to enable warhead. Real key big. Brass and heavy.

We used a dummy key for practice runs. Real keys kept locked under system that requires dual access.

They lost the dummy key and brought me a key from some piece of equipment that was similar to the real key that I had only seen photos of.

When I saw that key I thought a real launch and that meant we were launching 4 Pershing missiles each with a yield up to 400 kt. Meant the Soviets had already launched their Scud or SS 20 missiles at us. We were above ground.
