Ole Miss plays Georgia later this year. LSU will make it with one conference loss holding the tiebreaker over Bama. Ole Miss will have two conference losses.

I think everybody knows based on the hundreds of posts about this subject every day. We don't need another reminder.

Why are you assuming Ole Miss is going to lose to Georgia?

We likely make the CFB too if we beat UGA. It is maddening people can't understand that.

Why are you assuming they won’t?

Sure an upset can happen but you saw vs Kentucky what GA can do when they are focused.

Hell, I am assuming Ole Miss will lose to Georgia and aTm

Ole Miss will 100% lose to one of the four:

Auburn
A&M
Georgia
Miss State (Rivalry).

IF they don't. We just need Bama not to lose after we beat them. Then there is a three way tie that we have a good chance of winning.

Basically, if we win out, the odds of us NOT making ATL are ridiculously low.

They got to get past Auburn this weekend too….now hear me out, I know Auburn is bad, but playing them at night in Jordan Hare is a different beast all together. And it usually doesn’t matter how bad they are. Just look at UGA recently playing there. They’re also gonna want to show up and play well against Hugh Freeze’s old team. And Ole Miss historically has been very bad versus Auburn. Let’s hope this argument becomes a lot more clear after this weekend. ;)

It's really not that maddening. There's decent potential for 4 undefeated teams even if UGA loses, and that's not mentioning the 1 loss teams that can win out.

Almost as ridiculously low as the odds of LSU winning out.

LSU will lose 1 more game this year so no SEC Championship this year.

WTF? He's not assuming anything. He's asking why it's just assumed Ole Miss will lose at UGA.

Now, here's the right answer: Because they're Ole Miss. It's what they do. They may lose at Auburn.

They started 8-0 last year and lost their last 4.

I honestly think they have a good shot at winning that game with Brock Bowers being out.

If mentioned this a couple of times in other threads.

Lane always loses some game he shouldn’t. AU might be that game this year.

Are you just figuring this out. Like this was even posted in its own thread on the Scoreboard during that horrible game before the clock hit :00!!!!!!!!! Well you are correct Captain Obvious so good for you. Also Ole Piss also plays eATMe as well so I think they could lose both.

ETA yes the Reb’s were 7-0 last year then we beat them then they lost their last 5 including their bowl game and this year @Auburn, @UGA, @ Starkvegas (Egg Bowl rivalry) plus eATMe at home so they’re hands are full and I predict they lose at least 2 more and finish 9-3, although 10-2 looks better for LSU’s case with their only losses to Bama and UGA with LSU having just beat UGA the night before as the committee debates who the final 4 will be that Sunday. The Bama win will also still be fresh in they’re minds as it was just 4 weeks ago, also as the Ole Piss close loss will seem like last year! That’s how college football works, lose early and to really good teams. An undefeated Florida State team also helps LSU!!!!!
