Now, here's the right answer: Because they're Ole Miss. It's what they do. They may lose at Auburn.

They started 8-0 last year and lost their last 4.

This guy gets it. There are people who think Ole Miss can win out lol

Why are you assuming Ole Miss is going to lose to Georgia?
Nothing guaranteed but do you not think it's a safe assumption to make?

It is maddening people can't understand that.

It's really not that maddening. There's decent potential for 4 undefeated teams even if UGA loses, and that's not mentioning the 1 loss teams that can win out.

What's maddening is not realizing how bad the SEC is this year. We have a losing record against P5 teams. Our best wins are MO over KSU and OM over GT. We have FSU over LSU, TX over AL, Miami over TAMU, UTAH over FL and others.

Given GA's weak schedule and how they are mostly sleep walking thru it, beating them will just confirm conference weakness and we will not get a boost from it. We would not get in over any one loss conference champion and probably some of their runner ups.

Please list out the six teams that you think are better collectively than UGA, LSU, Bama, Mizzou, Tennessee, and Ole Miss from the

ACC

Big 10

Big 12.

My God y’all are getting set up for utter disappointment. We aren’t beating Bama and we aren’t beating A&M. One week against the shittiest Auburn offense in 20 years and everyone thinks we are SEC champs. Lol

We will be heavy favorites over A&M. What games have you watched that prove to you that we can't beat them or Bama?

You better not watch these games or celebrate if we win. Speaking in absolutes is dumb.

Big 12.

The teams we have to contend with from those conferences right now:

ACC: FSU, NC, Duke. If anyone of these three teams win the ACC with one loss or less, they will be in. ACC SEC record is 4-2 with wins over LSU, SC, TAMU and Vandy. SEC has beaten GT and UVA. Overall record will change because there are 4 games left: GA/GT, Clem/SC, FL/FSU and Kt/Louisville.

B10: Mich, OSU, PSU. One or fewer losses and they're in. Strong possibility of a second team if there is an opening.

Big 12: TX, OU. A one loss champion would make it.

PAC 12: Ore, WA. Think they would take a one loss here too.

SEC: The above is assuming LSU wins out. If GA was undefeated, they would get in, but it would be due to being a two time defending champion rather than accomplishment. Would push out a one loss champion, but don't know who would get pushed out with all undefeated champions. Not ever sure a 1 loss Bama would make it given how they played.

Unclear. Ole Miss could be a fly in the ointment because of tie breakers.

so you predict the PAC-12 misses out on the playoffs? You are so off base on your predictions.

LSU wins out but no one ahead of us will is your basis in every one of these discussions

Wrong. I think the PAC 12 makes the Playoff but they are not better than the SEC top to bottom.

And history is on my side for a two loss SEC champ making it
