The bright side is now the naive and ignorant can see clearly how Hamas lies and manipulates public opinion.
The willfully ignorant won’t care of course but frick them.

Now explain how we got from there to here in a manner that illustrates how exactly they are wrong for wanting their land back and the predominate Russian occupiers to go home and contrast that with your feelings about the struggle in Ukraine.
Why do you defend one group of Russian occupiers and attack the other?

Pretty amazing how many people believe something that was just reported, even if by big outlets. Doesn't matter if it's pro-israel or pro-hamas.

1. Jihadi rocket went jihadi on a parking lot
2. Casualties are much, much lower than 500.
Last night I was thinking either they had to have had hundreds of people sleeping in the lot along with additional hundreds sleeping on top of each other in rooms with windows right up against lot, or it has to be less than 500 deaths (of course some were pushing it to 800 last night).

Scary honestly. War is filled with chaos and it’s hard to always tell what’s really going on because of it. Yet as soon as something happens reports will come out and people will automatically believe it 100% true and get riled up based off of it

This whole situation has demonstrated to me that our society could not withstand a major global conflict that required our military to engage in an all-out, full-scale war. Some of the current members of Congress would have been demanding a ceasefire on D-Day.

lol some members of Congress would be insinuating the third reich were white hats trying to save us from the Shriner Illuminati or some shite

why is there a teargas involved, and why are they throwing rocks if it is in Gaza?
Has to be the West Bank.
There were protests bordering on riot in the West Bank yesterday after the hospital news broke.

I agree our society has put too much emphasis on feelings and inclusion. In a total war for survival you have to be willing to exterminate the enemy and its people if necessary. Our armed forces can’t be shackled and would need to become the angel of death.

Great opening half by Biden's speech writers but what a horrible second half. "If" Hamas steals the aid? The freaking control it the second it enters Gaza! Then sending more US taxpayer money to Gaza and the West Bank? WTF! Send that directly to Israel in the form of munitions. He is sleepwalking our country back into another Middle Eastern conflict. (Which will almost certainly be as disastrous as his Afghanistan pullout.) The best thing he did in the 2nd half was not attempting/butchering the Hebrew language.
As a country we should not be straddling any lines or drawing red lines (which is essentially what the aid theft comment did). We are with Israel against anyone who seeks to harm them. No US boots on the ground but I'm all for air support similar to the mid 90s over Bosnia-Herzegovina. When Hezbollah comes down from the north, take over air defense for the Israelis so they can go take out Iran's uranium sites*. That (and any specialists trying to rescue US hostages) should be the extent of US military personnel involved.
I've always had a lot of interest in World War 1 and this is giving off serious vibes of it. Russia/China/Iran have come out as the new Axis of Evil while it's the US/Israel/NATO as the main allied countries. I do wonder how US hostages held by Axis factors into all of this (frankly letting it factor in at all is giving those monsters what they want).
*I would imagine conveying this type of support/plan directly would likely be one of the main reasons for Biden to take an 11 hour flight into an active war zone in order to meet with Netanyahu for a few hours.

Of note, casualty-wise, I can confirm a number, probably 30-50, IDPs (internally displaced persons) were sheltering on the lawn in the courtyard of the Ahli Hospital in the red highlighted area. They took the worst of the blast, many of their bodies were badly burnt.
Far short of 500 or more people being killed in the incident as claimed by Hamas.

Per everyone, the Saudis have called on their people to leave Lebanon and the Beirut area immediately.
