This is all incredibly sad but yet fascinating.

This is absolutely about revenge.
quote:I would love that to be true but Hezbollah needs to be exterminated as well.
You think this chapter is the final chapter of this conflict?
And, no, I don't think that's the final chapter, either. Their replacements will need to be exterminated also. And on and on and on because radical Islamism feeds on angry poor populations that lack the collective will to confront their actual oppressors, and find turning to a death cult and having their death wish glorified by their actual oppressors preferable to humanity. Until we can solve the problem of poor people living in shithole countries Islam will remain an attractive solution for some.
I'd be fine with that if not for their inclination to go out once in a while and slaughter innocent men, women, and children. But as long as they choose to conduct themselves in that manner they are also choosing to give us no other option but to treat them as enemies of our [Western] concept of humanity.

How does a medical professional hold a press conference like this ?
Their ability to kill or support killing with one hand while playing victim with the other is disgusting.

They are so ignorant and delusional (cult + inbreeding) that they think that press conference is a good look

I responded “I’d wait until more comes to light. Hamas could be the culprit or were holed up and/or had a weapons stash there, which is a war crime on their part, for this exact purpose after Israel had given advanced warning to leave the area. There are no good choices in this war.”
I could easily see either side being responsible. Israel is beyond over dealing with the bullshite from Hamas so I could see them lying about it being an errant missile.
I could also absolutely see this errant missile come from Hamas. They put out a video showing how they make these rockets from dug up plastic water piping. We're not exactly dealing with high standards of munitions manufacturing.

Which part of our 9/11 response do you think was successful?
The part where we killed the people responsible for planning the attack as well as countless numbers of supporters.

Honestly. Do you think the US is a better and safer country in 2023 for what we did after 9/11?
Have we had another major attack on our soil since?
Honestly. Do you think we should have just done nothing and let them kill another several thousand people in a terrorist attack?

Sad part is that it is highly effective in motivating fellow Islamists to pick up arms and join the fight with the infidels.

It will be interesting to see how everyone tries to walk it back today. It looks pretty obviously like:
1. Jihadi rocket went jihadi on a parking lot
2. Casualties are much, much lower than 500.
Also, why would doctors at a Baptist mission hospital be wearing crisp Red Crescent gowns?

My general thought process is who has the most to gain from the action and my rule of thumb is the terrorists are generally the ones lying.
As we’ve seen in the aftermath, clearly, Hamas has the most to gain from this happening.

Seem to remember the previous administration signing peace deals that had that region stabilized. Is that within your 30 years?

I'm so confused
It appears that the rocket Hamas launched at Israel malfunctioned and landed in the hospital parking lot.
Some people were using some grass nearby as temp housing and they caught the worst of it. But in all likelihood, Hamas' estimate of 500 killed is waaaaaaay overboard.

Right?!
And then having the doctor standing out front doing a press conference with dead bodies around him? Come on now.

This one is easy, no need for forensics and anyone who wanted to claim this was an Israeli rocket or HE munition is INTENTIONALLY intellectually dishonest:
The white car parked near the grass in the red outline (behind the car with the multiple mattresses) is scorched, so it was there, but the rear window facing the "blast" (which was more like rocket fuel burning) is intact. In fact, the car to its picture-left burnt in the rear visibly and the rear window is out; but the front, which didn't burn has an intact front window. If there was a HE blast those windows would not be intact.
* I discounted the red mini-van, grey one next to it, and black car in the foreground, both with all windows intact, because I cannot see scorching so they may not have been there at the time of the incident.
And that's another thing... there's way too much flames, on pavement/tile, where there should be a crater. That's because it is fuel burning and not a warhead payload.

What a joke. Clearly wasn’t a bomb from an air strike.
