Haha...sorry, won't take "stay on topic" lecturing from the board's resident "hey look a squirrel" King of Non-Sequitur....

You said that opposing McCarthy was dumb. You haven’t changed your mind and now believe Gaetz was right to do what he did (originally) have you?

Trump fricking CELEBRATED when Democrat's held the Colorado Senate seat. Michael Bennet wants to mutilate children and indoctrinate them with CRT, and Trump was celebrating when O'Dea lost to him. All because O'Dea wasn't sufficiently sycophantic and had the audacity to say he preferred DeSantis or Tim Scott in 2024.

I think it was more Tea Party. But, it goes back to at least the Reagan years because he had a famous quote about it.

Kevin McCarthy: "I will do everything you all want me to if you just make me speaker..."

Kevin then does everything nobody wants him to.

Kevin McCarthy: "How did it ever get to this point?"

DeSantis didn't hand-pick Dr. Oz, Herschel Walker, Kari Lake, and a host of others.

Also, your hero got DESTROYED, as an incumbent, by a then 77 year-old racist with dementia. I'd sit this one out if I were you.

Trumpsessed

He didn’t vote for Speaker of the House. But I know who did……Gaetzy. And guess who he voted for? Even got others to do same.

This will continue to happen until the GOP has an actual platform. They continue to run off silly click bait type topics and haven't released a relevant piece of policy in years. Maybe they could start with healthcare or infrastructure or something. Their immigration policy is "muh wall"

He promised me he'd post his address if Trump is the nominee and loses the General Election. Retards like him need to undergo conversion therapy so they can stop costing us winnable elections by voting for shite candidates in the primaries.

They don't care about policy.

They claim to hate Fauci, yet they're backing the guy who embraced Fauci. They claim to hate RINO's, yet they're supporting a guy who celebrated when the Democratic Senator from Colorado won re-election and said Cuomo and Newsom handled Covid better than DeSantis. They claim to hate woke, yet they're supporting a guy who couldn't immediately say that a man couldn't become a woman, all because he was afraid of hurting the feelings of Bruce Jenner, whom he calls "Caitlyn."

Yep, it's personalist politics. It's about the personality of the leader, not policies.

You thought VERY wrong

I’m a bomb-throwing radical, just one that actually has some understanding of economics and how the game is played. I’m just not quite as socially conservative as many on this board and I recognize some seriously bad economic trends, which makes me come across as a lot more “liberal” than I really am. Just because I recognize the status quo is broken doesn’t mean I believe in the progressive agenda to fix it. Saying no to bad ideas isn’t enough. We have to have ideas of our own to say yes to or else continue to lose ground defending an indefensible present where our liberties have already been taken and the middle class put on life support.
