Jayden needs to throw downfield...But I don't know if he can because he underthrows receivers...But also get players on the field that can catch...Pimpton, Hilton where were they...

Damn you should let the coaches and analysts know about all this data they have available to them, imagine if they had the same kind of access that you have!

So we're not allowed to challenge coaching decisions now? I guess every decision Les Miles made was beyond questioning? I bet you masked your infant children during covid per the "experts".

When we are down by 3 touchdowns Nuss should have been given a shot
Win or Lose Daniels would get a message he is not untouchable

People act like JD is a sophomore and can still vastly improve. He can’t.

We have no run game because we have zero vertical passing game and we refuse to get under center and run a power formation. That weak arse single back shotgun shite does not work when you have zero vertical threat and should never be used on the goal line that was atrocious. Put a fullback in backfield or Mason Taylor and run behind an actual lead blockers. You then can run some play actions and stuff out of that look. Then line up in a 2 back look in shotgun. Mix it up, move players around, don’t be scared to utilize Taylor all over the field, etc

Daniels didn’t make the Top 5 of biggest concerns of this team.

Correct, they stacked the line and dared us to throw long. JD doesn’t have the tools. But anyone who says this is an idiot or racist.

Guess i’m ignorant then. Nuss should be the qb, McDaniels has reached his potential

football isn't a complicated game and coaches are usually former players(who are more often than not lunkeads,) it's also a very, small nepotistic community, it's not like us "lay people" are completely clueless of what we see it is still just a game but it can be infuriating as a fan to see so much resources and opportunity squandered

When you can't score from the 2 why not do what all teams are doing place wingo, etc in backfield to push RB or QB through the line...gET OUT OF THE DAMN OPTION AND GO UNDER CENTER...How difficult is this Kelly, really..

He sucks in games. Maybe he is better than Nuss in practice but how anyone wouldn’t want to see another option in games is beyond me. Keep defending mediocre play

He shouldn't just be benched,
but if we get behind two scores and the offense hasn't done anything all half then I am for a change. If only for the one game.

No see you’re misinterpreting what I’m saying, which makes sense considering you’re one of the ignorant people I’m talking about.

Questioning coaching decisions is one thing.

Imagining that you know better than the coaching staff on such a basic question as “who should be the starting QB?”

That’s ignorance.

So everyone told us JD would be much improved with a full offseason but then like to say Nuss throws bad picks. Which happened last year. So I’m guessing Nuss can’t improve over the offseason? Or do we think he can’t improve because JD didn’t improve?

We’re going to have to take some risks because our defense sucks and JD is not a vertical passer. He also can’t read a defense pre snap which results in holding the ball and taking sacks with a crap OL.

It’s odd how LSU fans highlight every play by JD that isn’t perfect but completely ignore the fact that Nuss has a terrible habit of throwing bad interceptions.

This is a valid concern.

However, I would take Nuss TDs and INTs over no scoring for an entire half. I am not counting the one play when the game was over and they had backups. I would have liked to see a change after half of the 2011 championship too even though Lee had his own issues.

I am not calling for a permanent starter. Just don't be afraid to switch it up if something isn't working.

We basically got shutout the entire second half.

I think the better question would be why was our play calling so poor and predictable. Especially on those 4th and 1’s. An RPO from the shotgun, how creative….

It’s odd how there are people still waiting for Daniels to improve and take the next leap in his 5th year of being a starting QB, but don’t want to give Nuss any playing time to improve as a quarterback.

I know it’s fun to complain anytime our quarterback isn’t perfect and demand his back up gets a shot, but maybe, just maybe, there’s a reason he’s the starter
We don't have a Quarterback.

We have a Running Back trying to play Quarterback.

Run one of the old Triple Option Offenses with this dude.

There's too much talent at WR and TE currently to have a RBQB in there that can't Read Defenses and can't Move The Ball Downfield With The Football In The Air.

And the refusal of Miles & Cameron ( ) to even give GN a series or two is totally infuriating to watch.

We've all seen it before, huh?

The old pre Saban Alabama disease. The back up is always a hidden gem that is being underutilized and better than the starter.
