You guys ever notice when you're outside alone and you're thinking about life

or anything really, you almost always hear a small plane in the air. Maybe not you city boys because of all the noise, but in the country it almost never fails. I was outside cutting old deck boards and took a break, and there it was

I live about 10 miles from a small airport so I hear some of this, but usually in the AM or evening. I can also barely hear the ones at 30,000 feet. Doesn't bother me. The horses, chickens, crows, etc. make more noise than anything manmade.

Anybody has a FlightRadar addiction like I do?
Every time I hear or see an aircraft fly above me I go to Flightradar to see where it is coming from and flying to. Interesting stuff!

Can't say I have heard planes but a couple nights ago I smoked a bitch of a joint, laid out a towel in my back yard, and watched the stars for so long I started noticing the patterns and flight paths of the planes in sky. It was wild.
And because I am in the south in August I woke up the next day with 87 mosquito bites.
