I would not be shocked if Google, Facebook, Tik Tok, etc. throttled this song online and then labeled it hate speech.

Toby Keith has real talent, both vocally and from a songwriting standpoint.

I personally think his point went right over the heads of the country music industry. Red Solo Cup was the ultimate parody of the music industry as a whole and the level of elementary writing it takes to have a hit. Guy laughed all the way to the bank while the "industry" couldn't grasp he was also laughing directly at them.

This is calling out the people at the top. The real problem

You're dumb. Voters put them there, and the vast majority of the voters are not "at the top."

You should learn something an econ professor taught me decades ago. Who are the rich? The people that earn $5k a year more than you.

It doesn't matter what you make, it matters what the family "oppressing" you makes, cause that's the problem. The guy at the end of the street with a boat, the dentist, etc.

I love Rich Men North of Richmond because he's got a great voice, I love bluegrass, and he's not being a classist a-hole, which is weak sauce.

Based on the replies I was expecting something cheesy like the Aldean song but that was awesome and hope he makes it.

People hate on social media so much but this is the type of stuff that shows it’s power for good.

A talented artist that otherwise wouldn’t get noticed becomes an overnight sensation because he sings with heart.

Good stuff.

What are you talking about? He's specifically calling out the worthless politicians that screw most of us to enrich themselves.

I have zero issue with my wealthy friends.

It's the ones in DC making life miserable for us that are an issue.

Since you find it so easy, give me some tips please. I am having trouble belting it like he does. Share your wisdom please. What am I doing wrong?

Rich Men North of Richmond

I bet I am not the only ol’ boy that is working on it at this very moment.

You put the Blancos, JBE, etc., in office. Which was my point. Remember the billions dumped on the ethanol plants in Louisiana for "jobs" by people just looking out for the great people of LA? The "win one for the little guy" and we'll let you get away with all kinds of malfeasance has ruled LA more than most states. Jackson, MS, may be bad, but as a state I don't know what state approaches the Louisiana level of ineptitude that is not on the coast, or IL or MN.

Arkansas doesn't screw up as bad as Louisiana does, and that's saying something.

Ahhhh, I see. By not voting for them, I put them in power.

Because I'm dumb.
