What city has no one in it? That is where I want to live.

Donaldsonville has been on the precipice of the fabled "come-up" for what seems like forever.

Louisiana has multiple dying cities in a dying state in a dying country. Find some place to tough it out and wait for the doom!

As long as we keep elected the same people and doing the same shiat, nothing will change.

Lots of potential. But anytime anyone does or suggests anything progressive, the vocal dips yell and scream.....and here we are

I see New Orleans becoming a much bigger dump. Once they allow legal drugs, sex, and gambling in a closed off area of the city. Kind of like in that tv show oz. Will be the American Amsterdam but crime will drop drastically around the city. Money from the drug and sex taxes will make the city rich once again.

Love Belle River and Pierre Part. Small town, solid growth in property values for riverfront. Amazing people. Low crime.

Guess the parish is Louisiana’s best-kept secret

Can’t wait to see the effect the new port has on our parish and the highway they’re building to service it… we have our share of NIMBYs but I think it’s inevitable.

The trashy parts of our parish are dying out and we’re building a new reputation as a middle class suburb of New Orleans
