He got elected because of Watergate. Most intelligent President we ever had in my life, also the most inept at governing and politics, and yes that include the current potato in chief.

My dad lasted a couple of days in hospice. Probably a blessing considering the shape he was in.

No, but not the only state that rationed gas.

Reagan was way smarter than Carter.

Sorry, but this is just wrong. Yes, what’s happening today is a debacle. But in terms of actual effects on day to day life, Carter’s tenure was worse. The inflation back then was way worse. And few who are alive today got to experience long lines just to get some gas. I could go on and on.

But he’s an election denier. There’s nothing worse than an election denier. They threaten our democracy.

Sometimes they put someone on hospice who can realistically survive 6 months or more. Easier to get meds
Dependson the meds. Hospice will cut off meds also. Not all meds but some for sure. Like cholestoral medication. That goes away inmmediately.

My grandfather has been in hospice since January... he's been in "active" stage since Friday, which if you don't know means you have three days max... as of today his vitals are still all stable...he's a tough SOB...guess Jimmy is too

There are a lot of misconceptions about hospice. We have people in “hospice” for a couple years sometimes. Terminal doesn’t always mean tomorrow.

My wife, who went to college at Georgia Southwestern University in Americus, GA, 12 miles east of his hometown of Plains, had the honor of attending a Sunday School class that he taught at his church. It is a moment she will always cherish and she has always raved about him.
We didn't deserve Jimmy as President, he's the most decent human being to ever hold the office.

When he entered hospice, nothing was publicly known about his wife's deteriorating mental health. The announcement that she is suffering from dementia followed, but I think those around her would have realized that she was having problems long before the announcement. His entry into hospice may have made it easier to care for them with them separated physically or medically.

I was a kid when he was president, but even I understood what an abysmal job he was doing. So few people today experienced it. People today would lose their minds if they had to experience it.
Jimmy was peanuts compared to the f’n idiot in the office now.
