We could have extremely harsh and strict penalties for crimes committed with firearms. We could lock this trash up. We could have other perps second thinking using firearms since someone down the street got a 10 year automatic enhancement that has to be served day by day, hour by hour, for using a gun In commission of a crime on top of the penalty for the crime itself.
Oh but nooooooooooo. We have to empty the prisons. We have to eliminate bail. We have to not prosecute crimes and give major crimes misdemeanor penalties. We have to send in the social workers.
