I'm pretty sure this is the same poster who re-posts this every 6 months or so.

Initially started as a complaint about not being able to travel during COVID and how he had high blood pressure and hemorrhoids.

I was also diagnosed with GERD. Coughed all the damn time and felt like I had a giant pill stuck in my throat 24/7. I was overweight and thought well, this is just how I am now. Three years ago I hit a wall and decided to lose the weight (that I'd convinced myself I could not) and it wasn't even that hard. I do go see a doctor for weigh ins and accountability, but it was all accomplished with intermittent fasting and walking. I lost 40 pounds and finally recognize myself again. My GERD is gone. There is a magic number that if I get above it, it comes back.

That does give me some hope. Yes that's exactly how I feel. Like my throat is constantly blocked 24/7. Doesn't help there's always water in the back of my throat.

Please stop with this. In fact I think an apology is in order. It's ironic how wrong you are as I never posted here at all during COVID. Until I rejoined I haven't posted here since probably 2015.

I'm trying to be open here and I do thank those of you who are trying to help. It doesn't feel as hopeless as when I started this thread and I do appreciate the support.

Ironically I never locked down. I did travel some during COVID when most other people were locked down.

Hang in there. There are people who love you and if you give up, it will devastate them. Give God, Diet and Exercise a serious chance. There are many stories about people overcoming things mentally and physically. Hell, Lance Armstrong’s book about his cancer situation was very inspiring. He had it all over. Try evaluating your intake of foods and chemicals and make some drastic changes to see what helps. Hang tough and work on it. God bless and I’ve said a prayer for you.

You need to get over this mindset. You are who you are. But consider this, many of God’s chosen had significant afflictions and thus relied on God. God shows his strength through the weak so as to humble the mighty.

Keep the courage my man.

Goals:
1. Talk to a new therapist
2. Talk to God (like you would a friend) daily. Ask him for what you need, and believe you have received it.
3. Read scripture, or the bible in a year podcast - allow God’s word to work in you
4. Visit somewhere you can breathe healthily - and then move there.

Life is a lot easier with faith, hope and good health. Do what you can to help yourself.

I definitely didn't win the genetic lottery when I was born and I just hate feeling like I'm some defective toy.

You need to stop telling yourself this. You are not defective. The world is a cruel place as it is. You need to stop being cruel to yourself with your words and thoughts. Your life will become a never ending downward cycle of depression.

Stop cursing yourself. Words have power.

I was going through college, depressed and lifeless. I wanted to be stoned whenever I was awake, because that was the only thing that made me feel better. I hated God. I dreaded waking up in the mornings. I put on a front when I was with my friends, but inside I felt like nobody would love me, if they knew who I really was.

One night, I found Jesus, and I realized that he is real, and that he had always known me personally, and he loved me, and wanted to help me live life to the full (John 10:10). I felt love and freedom, and I was never the same.

Am I perfect? Absolutely not. But I have a relationship with the Father, and he helps me in all aspects of life.

I’ll be honest. I’m currently going through a hard time, but I know that I’m going to get through it, because God has only been good to me.

Honestly I get pretty mad at God sometimes. That he cursed me with these things. Like why couldn't I just be given a normal body like most people? Why did I have to get the defective body? It makes me feel like I can't really participate in society many times or live a normal life.

First it’s pretty normal to get mad at someone you have a relationship with. God understands. Doesn’t mean you need to cut off the relationship.
Second, it’s only a curse if you look at it that way!! God doesn’t make mistakes. He gave you an opportunity to carry a cross.
I spent 52 days in a burn unit burned on 80% of my body when my airplane crashed. I should be dead. I’m a walking miracle, but it’s still hard. I suffer every day with deep mental and physical pain and scars. I can’t look at a mirror without being disgusted. I’ve found though that there are two eternal truths that keep my going:
1- somebody out there has it way worse than me
2- they can use my prayers so I offer up my suffering as a prayer for them.
TLDR: Cowboy Up! Make your mess your message. Go build a real relationship with Christ and make an impact by praying silently for those who need YOUR help

I think it’s time for new doctors. Even if you move out of town and get a specialist that will work with you. You have no responsibilities. Go find a place you want to live and find some work that you want to do. Something that gets you excited to get out of bed.

I'm about to change your life. If you listen to this advice I promise you most of that will go away. You will not like it, but it's the truth. I will get downvoted for this, but it just means they are uneducated. First things first:
1.) Look up a doctor called Dr. Sebi. He's a herbalist who has won in court and supreme court in NY for curing AIDS, Diabetes amongst a ton of other health issue.
2.) Go on a fruit only diet, walnuts/brasil nuts are ok, and a select few other vegetables. (He has a nutritional guide.) Eat one meal a day, never eat after 6, and drink ONLY spring water.
3.) Long story short - animal protein(meat) is carcinogenic and it's extremely acidic. It restricts your blood vessels. Your endothelium is the lining of your blood vessels and it regulates blood flow throughout the body. It knows that a muscle or organ needs more blood flow and it dilates and opens up for this purpose. When it is impaired it can not function properly. Not only does your body produce mucus from the acidity, but this is why you have mucus issues. The human body is NOT designed to eat meat. The protein in animals are complex proteins, you don't not need them contrary to popular belief.
4.) STOP consuming sugar. Without crazy explanation, if you need sweets look into Honey, Raw Agave Sugar Syrup, or Date Sugar. Believe it or not, these natural forms of sugar will NOT raise your blood sugar because they contain fructose naturally.
5.) Look into grounding. Stand in the yard no shoes feet on grass for at least 30 minutes a day, do not wear sunscreen shirt off no sunglasses. If you have a clean diet your body will produce the melanin it needs so you will not get sunburnt.
6.) FAST! IMPORTANT for body self-clean. Try 1 meal a day when you can, drink fresh spring water if hungry, and eventually work your way up to 72 hours. Your body needs time to clean itself up, heal the immune system replace broken and damaged cells.

*If you follow any of that for 2-3 weeks I can promise you your condition will get rid of if not ALL of it. For more nutrition, I'd look into Sea Moss and the Moringa tree. Those 2 will give you the 102 minerals your body needs to function. Look, I'm not going to explain it all, and I don't know you but... do your own research maybe you'll surprise yourself. Good luck and God bless.
*You can also look into herbal teas for inflamation reduction because they are very good. Some recommendations are: Elderberry, Soursop Leaf, Burdock Root, Blue Vervain, and Blessed Thistle.

I can't say I can try that immediately but that is incredibly interesting. I know a friend of mine swears by doing a good fast once a month where he will go 2 - 3 days without eating. He will also during that time take laxatives to fully flush out all toxins in the body. I've not seriously considered it but I think I need to. Any recommendations on doing a fully flush of all toxins int he body?

I will seriously look at all of those recommendations and will absolutely look at implementing them. The fruit/vegetable only diet would be by far the hardest part but I will try anything. What's the reasoning behind the 30 minutes in the grass recommendation?
