I live in Florida and a Fl fan was saying how much he enjoyed that game. I replied 24-4 don't mean a thing if you ain't got that ring!! That shut him up.

Plus I think LSU had a bigger differential over the entire CWS even with 3 matchups vs #1 and Florida getting Virginia, TCU and Oral Roberts.

The way he stared at that home run ball. I've never seen anyone look happier honestly.

That was such a beautiful swing. He just watched it leave the park and grinned.

The fact that we didn't even pitch Skenes against them makes it that much better.

It is hard to imagine LSU pounded Florida to win the title and didn't even use its single most dominant player in the series.

When Skenes threw against Wake, I thought it guaranteed Florida the title knowing they wouldn't have to see him.

Jobert swatted that bad memory into the RF bleachers.

Probably some trivia question for the future but he scored via HR the last run in both G2 and G3.

I said this the other day to myself.

The whole LSU team came ready. And you literally had your ace waiting.

I was walking through the Dallas airport today wearing an LSU baseball shirt and I saw a guy wearing an LSU baseball hat (with the stairwell font or whatever it's called) and he glared at me. I just pointed at him and he did a big shake of his right fist as if to say, "damn right." I love stuff like that.

I was there in Omaha, stayed till the end. They were celebrating like they had won it all. I said, you still have another game tomorrow. Monday, after the 2 run lead, they were still running their mouths, but then, they quieted down.
The funny thing, there were so few Gator fans, an a bunch were not wearing gator colors. You knew who they were in the first inning, cause they stood up an cheered. Then like I said, quiet.

I hope Jobert comes back. We can use an upperclassman to help with younger guys and He’s easily a 20+ homer guy if he plays the whole year.
