What are some yummy but not touristy places to try in Lafayette, LA or the surrounding area?

Touristy places? Lafayette? Kidding...mostly.
Really depends on what kind of food your going for. Pizza, I'd go to Central Pizza. Really like Pop's po-boys and T-coons.
Don's seafood is also really good, but that is what you may consider "touristy."

Since you've used to word 'yummy' twice to describe the food you seek, I can only assume you are an 8 year old girl. Have your parents take you to Chick-fil-A. Remember to get some extra Chick-fil-A sauce.

By you saying yummy, I’m guessing you are a female. My wife likes Ruffinos, Zea’s, La Fondas and Mazen.

Don's, Spoonbill, and Social are our gotos when we're in Lafayette. The drink selection at Social makes it our favorite for nights we want a few drinks with a good meal.
