Touristy places? Lafayette? Kidding...mostly.

Really depends on what kind of food your going for. Pizza, I'd go to Central Pizza. Really like Pop's po-boys and T-coons.

Don's seafood is also really good, but that is what you may consider "touristy."

Since you've used to word 'yummy' twice to describe the food you seek, I can only assume you are an 8 year old girl. Have your parents take you to Chick-fil-A. Remember to get some extra Chick-fil-A sauce.

I had brunch at Tchoup's a couple of weekends ago and thought it was mighty fine. Little neighborhood joint.

By you saying yummy, I’m guessing you are a female. My wife likes Ruffinos, Zea’s, La Fondas and Mazen.

Poches in Breaux Bridge has been there forever. Etoufee, pork backbone stew, rice and gravy. Take an ice chest and bring home some boudin, stuffed chickens and pork chops. It’s mainly a plate lunch place.

Don's, Spoonbill, and Social are our gotos when we're in Lafayette. The drink selection at Social makes it our favorite for nights we want a few drinks with a good meal.
