Bud Light boycotters decimating sales over Dylan Mulvaney promotion should think about employees, Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth says

quote:

Brendan Whitworth wants Bud Light boycotters to blame him for the fateful Dylan Mulvaney promotion and not punish the 65,000 people whose livelihoods depend on Anheuser-Busch.

Speaking to CBS on Wednesday, the former U.S. Marine and CIA spy turned CEO of America’s largest beer brewer said the buck stopped with him when it came to the disastrous promotion with transgender influencer Mulvaney.

Got to love it. It's your fault his employees will probably lose their jobs

Maybe homie should have thought about his employees before letting his company be used for a political agenda

Resign if it's your fault, Brendan.

People are still drinking. Time for those employees to go work for the competitors who are now killing it.

It’s the worst part, being an AB employee who disagrees with what happened probably as much as I do. Cruel, but necessary.

I'm confused, I thought he said not that long ago that the losses are not that big of a deal globally speaking:?

It is not a boycott. It is a lifestyle choice

If you would've told me 10 years ago that AB would me toppled by a Marine vet CEO, I would've called you crazy

Perhaps he should dole out some of his VASTLY OVERINFLATED salary and incentives to help his employees.

Oh, he doesn't want to think about them that personally?

This MF knew what he was doing and used the nation's most beloved beer brand to do it. Hope the worst happens to this guy. Seriously wish him much ill.

Former CIA? POS, that is more reason to boycott him and his company.

Maybe he should’ve thought about his employees before needlessly alienating a huge portion of his business’s customer base.

He should have thought about them first.

He's former CIA and a corporate CEO. Where was his head in this process?
