I will never be able to wrap my brain around the fact that these things walked the earth and swam the oceans and then just POOF, they were gone.

eta: i've heard that a 4 seamer "rising" is an optical illusion in that it actually just doesnt drop as much as the hitter expects, but im pretty sure a curveball curves

If you look at the span of time between the building of the Great Pyramids and today and then looked at the time of Cleopatra, the time of Cleopatra was closer to today than to the building of the Great Pyramids.
