I agree with him that Tennesse's pitching staff as a whole is better than LSU top to bottom. However, if Skenes plays in a game it automatically makes LSU the best pitching staff that day no matter who we play. I don't care if you go Dollander for 5 inning then Burns for 4. It still doesn't trump Skenes for 7 or 8 and whoever else.

Seen it and his change and now his curve. I want him to pitch to Wake who hasn’t seen him at all vs Tenner who has. Southern Miss series taught us a lot about Tenner. They needed 4 errors to beat Hall and great defense / errors to beat that last So Miss pitcher. So Miss went cold from the plate.

Tennessee does NOT have the best pitching staff in the country. Dollander is not even remotely better than Skenes. Chase Burns has been a very good reliever out of the bullpen since he moved to that role. But in no way would I even suggest Tennessee has the best staff in the country. Wake Forest has the best overall staff in the country and honestly I think Kentucky has a more impressive staff top to bottom than the Vols.

Dollander hasn’t been close to Skenes this yr. Skenes will be in MLB no later than early next season maybe sooner. Only reason he won’t be this yr is the pitches he’s thrown this yr & his free agency clock
