Despite initial progress in the first phase of the so-called fix earlier this year, the sinking and leaning Millennium Tower in San Francisco is now tilting more to the west than ever, according to monitoring data reviewed by NBC Bay Area’s Investigative Unit. Jaxon Van Derbeken reports.

Just pack human feces into the substrate. It'll be fine.

It's a residential building... and I would not want to live there either.

OT engineers, will this building simply fall over during the next big earthquake?

Imagine paying a ton of money for one of these units. Now, between SF being an unlivable shitehole and the building being tainted your unit is practically worthless.

I think I witnessed that this weekend in New Orleans after the pride parade.

A more accurate headline would be: "SF's Millennium Tower now tilting more than ever to the LEFT "

Unsurprising...

Good idea.

They could turn it into free housing.

And when it falls the city will have new data showing that homelessness is on the decline
and the leaders can use that in their re-election campaign.

Lol at the loser engineer who got it wrong pointing to a different metric now that makes it not look as bad.

I trust the guy they interviewed who said he told them this was not going to help.

Pay that much to have your drink slide off your coffee table? No thanks. Only in California.

How do owners in this building get homeowner's policy coverage ?
Does State Farm or Allstate write policies for residents in this building?
I was told this building was built on an old landfill.
