From what I have heard, the 3B parents are the one causing trouble and threatening to sue the school. I don’t see how that kid can return next year after all the trouble his parents caused this year.

That principal appears to be underqualified but that is the current pattern in all of public and charter schools. And the private schools have their own dirt just usually parents with more $ to peddle influence on the decision makers.

I think Sulphur coach is retiring. I could be wrong. He’d get support over there.

I was told Boomer had 3 unsportsmanlike notifications come from the LHSAA. The 9 hole hitters scouting report was “will try to hit the catchers mitt on purpose”. The intentionally stepped on ankles at first. Ran over catchers on purpose.

This came from a coach that played them in the playoffs.

Iota intentionally stepped on Lakeshore’s first baseman’s foot during their series.

I do not believe your information is accurate. We had 3 different 9 hole hitters in that series...They must have been confused because Iota was doing the ankle stepping...look at pics just posted to the fb page of the baseball Titans.

This is great. There's literally a pic of iota stepping on Lakeshores first baseman's foot. Hell then later on they drilled him. The catcher getting plowed was definitely uncalled for and the kid got suspended but don't believe everything you hear. Iota was very cocky after game 1 then got smashed and turned trashy

Coach tried to get in the room so they dead bolted him out. He had to go get a key downstairs. so the coach sent them home.
Coach was at fault trying to discipline kids in a public school. Should have known better.

Yea Sam is retiring and going back to Texas to coach. Would be cool if boomer got that job, but lots of politics in Sulphur

Now back to lakeshore…about the tape? What y’all gonna do with it? Does no good if y’all don’t use it to get the guy y’all want for your kids? Principle sounds like a count

This sounds like that invasive parenting everyone hates.

What kind of “consequences for Iota” would y’all have liked to see?

Principal's maiden name is Strain, so there was an immediate inclination on my part to see this as politically motivated. Even if not related, the inclination was there.

Wayne Stein announced today that he's giving up the baseball job at St. Charles Catholic after two successive championships. He will remain A.D. and head 'ball coach.

Let me be clear, CONSEQUENCES FOR OUR BOYS, for the Iota game.

That is not invasive parents! More parents should try to work with schools to problem solve, especially behavior related. As an educator who has dealt with shitty parents, admin should want proactive parents and open dialogue.

You have to document and cover your arse or the parents win.

The parents will win no matter how well it’s documented their kid is a piece of shite… admin will rollover like a beaten dog as soon as the parent(s) contact the school board.

This is just a general statement about school/parent relationships, not about the players involved in the game. Louisiana has obviously had a problem retaining good teachers for a very long time… spineless admins and terrible parents have reached critical mass levels in a lot of schools.
