Nashville

Nashville or Charlotte

Nashville then Charlotte.

Orlando

Nashville would be good, but I wonder if there is enough corporate money to support 3 pro sports teams. There are enough regular fans.

A Nashville base ball team would be so awesome

Austin being the size it is without having one of the major 4 sports is crazy.
Austin is new growth. Look at the population growth figures.

Louisville? New Orleans? Yet, no San Antonio.

Nashville is the obvious choice. I doubt the Astros and Rangers would be too pleased about Austin, and both would probably fight it and claim territorial rights.
Charlotte is probably another good choice. Orlando is not, neither are Louisville and New Orleans. Florida already has two teams that are barely supported, Louisville and New Orleans aren't really considered viable expansion candidates, at this point.
And could you imagine MLB trying to iron out civic details with Latoya or whatever trainwreck the people of New Orleans decide to put in the mayor's office next?

Nashville will be in the next expansion and will pull plenty of fans.
Smart move to build the fanbase would be to put them in the AL since the closest franchises are all NL (Braves, Cardinals, Reds) and it would make it easy for people to adopt the new team without breaking previous allegiances.

Everyone says Charlotte if one goes to NC, but I think Raleigh would be a better city for baseball. Regardless of what town, no MLB team in NC is a huge miss; baseball is huge in the state and the USA Baseball complex is already here in the Triangle.
Nashville is the easy answer though.

Either Nashville or Memphis.
Memphis would draw from Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas, all which have a pretty big college baseball following.
Nashville would probably have a cooler set up, plus you are less likely to get your car stolen or murdered
Florida doesn’t support the teams it has, even when the Rays have been more successful than the Yanks over the last 5-6 years.

Nashville is booming and there’s not a team in the entire state of Tennessee
Nashville is the answer. Austin would never work. There isn't enough room for another professional team in Texas. Austin's pro team is UT. There is a reason there are no pro teams there. Those folks aren't going to support them.

You left off the Pro Sports town of Knoxville

Nashville, and then move the current minor league team there to NOLA.

I always thought Orlando would be much better for the Tampa bay rays
