Seems like a great way to exclude certain folks.

anything over 300 lbs should absolutely be a premium fee charged by the pound at grocery store price levels for beef by the pound.

shockingly few wildebeests on the fight I’m on now. Must be a glitch in the matrix or because I didn’t fly southwest

With today's flying experience being what it is, I'd almost prefer they perform anesthesia before boarding and stack us in racks on the plane.

per seat will work. Just need a measuring tool like they do for carry-on luggage. if a passenger cant sit between two rails equating to a seat dimension, then they must buy two tickets.....

otherwise, even if they pay more for the weight, they are still hanging over into my seat....

Absolutely….every other shipping industry charges by weight/size.

I am 100% behind this

Why should my wife and I who have a combined weight of around 290lbs be limited to the same checked bag weight restrictions as a couple who weighs over 500 lbs?

Pretty good idea. Animals should be 1.5x rate as well.

Discriminatory. Some people can't help that they are small.

Great idea but well we know that you can’t shame anyone anymore for any reason. Unless they are white

We can sit here and pound sand and wail until we lose our voices on this issue....in today's woke climate this shite ain't ever going to change.

I mean I love all your ideas I do, but at this point I'm just reserved to the fact that probably on at least half of flights you are going to be rubbed by a big boy or a big girl....it sucks arse and pisses me off but it is what it is.

Southwest gives a free extra seat for fat people per their “customer of size” policy. My initial reaction was anger, but honestly I’d rather them take up 1.5 of their own seats than to cross over into mine.

Hypothetically, the plane you are in is going down mid-flight unless it drops 350 lbs. Does the crew and riders agree to sacrifice one fatty or two non-fatties?

Would be pretty discriminatory towards men, who tend to be bigger and heavier in general.

I'd much rather pay a higher price for a ticket to have actual space on an airplane instead of being crammed in like sardines. Give me less seats on a flight for more space between seats (side to side AND front to back).

Just measure by girth instead of weight, have adjustable seats that allow only your width, unless you want to pay more.

200lb at 5' is going to take up more than 200lb at 6'.

The best way to address this is to refer to people by their weight + "pounder."

For example, if a person weighs 300 pounds, call them a 300 pounder.
