What do you expect him to do, veto it?!

It's not his bill, it's the legislature

He’s not going to win independents like people claim he is. And he’s too conservative for some of the Trump Democrats.

I don’t think he can win anyway. He’s Mittens 2.0

He already did that when he decided to run a shadow campaign against Trump.

That's what he SHOULD do in Florida, but he should make it clear in the primary that he would NOT do the same at the Federal level.

This is a losing issue for any politician trying for broad appeal. Nobody is changing anyone's mind on the issue and the nation is very evenly divided on it. Does he have a mechanism to let it become law without signing? Might be his best option.

What is crazy is the pro abortion crowd made this law possible when they challenged the Mississippi law of 15 weeks...

It's the way it's done. You cater to the base in the primaries, then shift to centrism in the general. It's been the winning national election formula for decades.

IDK.

My guess is that he would say, "I handled my end by getting Roe out of the way, the rest is up to you and your state."

Not the strictest in the nation.

Did the MSM tell you that?

*WI is a 100% ban with zero exceptions. Law is straight out of 1849.

There was a time when abortion was a seriously unpopular and taboo act. Influencing the culture could make it that way again.

Do you think that he won't be able to explain the difference between a state restriction, which is great because each state can have their own laws, and a federal one?

Isn’t it better to be against killing children than worrying about rigged elections?
