Have a plan, hire a few guys you can trust, pick a bank. Break in, steal money and escape through the sewers..leave town, buy new id docs.

attain a law degree from an ivy league school, run for political office, rape & grift the taxpayers, spread the wealth among family members. seems to work for 99% of D.C.

Pay yourself first

Live below your means

Carry as little personal debt as possible.

Use other peoples money.

Don't spend money.

Is that the definition of financial freedom?

Or the opposite?

Living underneath one's means allows a lot of freedom.
But the definition of denying oneself a bunch of items sounds like the opposite of freedom to most.

Choose a vocation that suits your passions and skillset. Work extremely hard. Excel in your chosen field. Then work harder. There is no other way to achieve financial security at any age, outside of collosal and unlikely luck.

Graduate in a well funded profession. Work hard and get promoted. Don’t get married or have kids til your 30’s. Buy a house early on and save/invest.

Be an only child, then become an orphan, and inherit. And spend the rest of your life in contemplation of fate.

Bottom line - determine your personal risk threshold

What can you stomach?

You should apply for the hardest job that will bring you the largest payout. Punch above your weight.

Or start something and go all in. Are you willing to lose everything and keep going? How shady are you willing to do for business?

Do you feel it's a personal failure to make financial mistakes? How is your risk mentally?

The income you make will be where your risk stops.

On a side note, marrying money is the best way. There's so many wealthy, trust-laden average looking women available in the northeast. A lot of dudes can't function knowing that the woman holds the purse strings. Get into those bland philanthropies as an entry. Set your sights on a 170-90 pound athletic blonde lady - the ones who could be 25 or 45. Loaded broads.

So many skilled trades you can’t beg people to come do in a hurry.

Surveyor
Well/Septic Inspector
GOOD welder

Learn a trade under someone skilled and don’t worry about money.

Go out on your own after gaining some life skills.

Be timely and respect customers.

But at least 20% away.

Don’t live on credit.

I've made some poor financial decisions, but ultimately I've decided that instead of complaining, time to get out there and do something about it.

I've realized that instead of complaining about what you don't have, it's better to just work towards a life you want to live.

Marry rich and not sign a prenup.

Don't have kids and if you marry make sure she had a lucrative career.
