You may no longer be able to “taste the rainbow” in California

One of the state’s lawmakers is proposing a ban on additives used in several candies — including Skittles, Sour Patch Kids, Pez and jelly beans — as they are linked to cancer and organ damage and can be harmful to DNA, the Daily Mail reported.
Additionally, Trident sugar-free gum is at risk of being pulled from the shelves along with more savory items like Campbell’s soup and some bread brands.
“Californians shouldn’t have to worry that the food they buy in their neighborhood grocery store might be full of dangerous additives or toxic chemicals,” reads a statement from Assembly Member Jesse Gabriel, whose district is outside of Los Angeles and who proposed the ban in a bill.
Gabriel’s legislation specifically targets five substances: propylparaben, red dye 3, brominated vegetable oil, potassium bromate and titanium dioxide. The latter three have already been banned in the European Union.
Not only would this law prevent their sale, but also would ban food products from being manufactured with those ingredients throughout the Golden State.
“This bill will correct for a concerning lack of federal oversight and help protect our kids, public health, and the safety of our food supply,” Gabriel added.
California law could ban sale of candies like Skittles, Pez

Can you still taste the palpable smell of shite and cigarettes on every street corner though?

No it does not. It just gives government more power over people, which is the purpose.

COVID shots are linked to myocarditis, yet those are still fine.
I bet the instance of candy causing cancer is less than that of myocarditis.

I’m not saying I support this initiative, however, there is a some serious bull shite they put in our food. I mean hell, just look at the label of a ketchup bottle from here and compare it to Europe.

The government wants to be sure it is the only entity that can harm our DNA.

I'm all for this. Screw artificial dye. It does nothing but harm us.

But the Covid vaccine is perfectly OK

Nevada & Arizona(maybe Oregon)finna eat. If I were lawmakers in these states I would be advertising our own Candyland for Californians to visit & buy from.

California sucks but this is a good thing. The shite that is in all the processed food should be banned everywhere.

If the ban titanium dioxide, lots of medicines will have to be pulled, it’s a really common filler.

California: "Plastic straws, combustible engines, sugar substitutes are bad and can kill you.
Also California: "Fentanyl, Crack, Heroine, etc... abuse will not be prosecuted, and we will subsidize your drug use by providing treatment. This treatment is nothing but a hold over until your next crack fix. Enjoy!"
Still California: "Plastic straws are a health hazard to our fish friends. Now don't step in the bum shite while we fine you for using these straws."

Hell must’ve frozen over because I actually agree with California for once.
I’d love to see the the personal holdings of big food execs and see how many pharmaceuticals they hold because I’m pretty sure our food is engineered to get us on long-term prescription medication.
