Watched episode 1 this morning. Nothing ground breaking but a good first episode. Took a weird jab at Joe Rogan early but other than that, good stuff.

Ted with the Bugs Bunny kiss on the mouth for Nate was perfect.

I really don’t like Nate, he has become very punchable.

I enjoyed the episode. Had to watch it twice to get all of the dialogue. My hearing is so crap and the dialogue is so densely packed and they talk so fast and with the English accents that first go round I didn't pick everything up. My wife does not care for watching with closed captions, so I watched it once with her without and then this morning I rewatched with. Helped out a lot.

I'm hoping they don't revisit old ground too much with the character development. Rebecca was leaning to going back to her original character for a bit early in the episode. Roy and Neeley seem to be treading the same water and Ted is still pining for his wife. Nate has some interesting things going on and Jamie Tartt is developing, so so far it's kind of a mixed bag.

It was weird and distracting. I am trying to imagine someone pitching this in a writers room...

Writer: "Hey guys, how about we get Keely to be on the phone with Joe Rogan and tell him to frick off!"

Other Writers: "Why would Keely be on the phone with Joe Rogan?"

Writer: "Who cares? It's hilarious!"

Bump for episode 2.

Loved this one. Classic Ted Lasso. Trent Crim is back and he’s awesome.

As soon as I saw the look of horror on Jacob's face I instantly knew it was their past marriage counselor. I literally jumped up in anger. Eff him and Ted's wife. She was already an a-hole but she upped it multiple level in a matter of two seconds! This show is fantastic though! Makes me physically laugh out loud multiple times. Not a fan of all the liberal remarks they are making this season but what else do you expect I guess.

Rewatching season 3 first episode. I love that Rupert's office looks like Emperor Palpatine's throne room

Man, I bailed on this show in season 2, but just to read this thread I'd swear I was looking at a Soap Opera Digest circa 1986.

I enjoyed Ted’s lesson for Ep.8, “We’ll Never Have Paris”.

Find out before you flip out.

Just came here to post that the "photo leak" locker room scene and player discussion was one of the most worthless and stupid scenes in the show's history.

Really enjoyed the episode. Right up there with Amsterdam. The Collin story was told well

-I will say “you’re playing like a bunch of f***ots” was brought to you by the writers of “this is MAGA country”

-As is obvious at this point, the best version of Keeley is around the team with people we actually care about

-Is Rupert trying to make a play on Jade or does he think his manager should be dating a supermodel? Before he ever met Jade, he was trying to set Nate up with Anastasia or whatever her name was. But why does he care?

Honestly I thought this season sucked. It was simply pushing BS narratives about sexuality and race. Ted is dealing with his mental health which would have been a great story line, but they just kind of quit after a few episodes on that topic and go on to the alphabet gang.

Nate had a chance to be a fun and cool villian and that never developed. The very obvious Zlatan like character was cool, but then he leaves for no reason. It was just a choppy season

This show and most of this episode still has some cartoonishly corny parts and storylines, but holy hell it can hit you in the feels at parts. The last 15 minutes of this episode were unreal

This episode has me thinking about little things from the past, and wondering what they might mean for the final episode

1) Rebecca’s mom’s psychic did say “you’re going to be a mother”, to which Rebecca was furious. Does she become a “mom” to the team? Does she actually become pregnant with Sam’s baby? Or, and it’s my hope, somehow she and Ted get together & she helps raise Ted’s son………hmmmmmmm?

2) no one is discussing Bex & Rupert’s assistant / booty girl coming to talk to Rebecca.
I wonder —- do they seek advice or make a plan to finally ruin Rupert for being a pig? Or are they coming to tell Rebecca that he’s acting very strange & “all he does is talk about you, Rebecca” - making way for Rebecca to start a possible “rekindle” —- but on Rebecca’s terms - as she’s now learned SO much from Ted and has become a much stronger woman (Army soldiers).

Talk amongst yourselves -
