Irrelevant. Universities hire on people to teach that have significant real world experience all the time even though they don't have PhDs, or hell sometimes don't have any degree at all.

I think she went overboard a bit with her anti maga rhetoric, but it did stir something in my soul when she invoked President Lincoln’s words regarding “the great task remaining before us”

She’s clinical (i.e., “professor of practice”); not a tenured or tenure-track research professor. I’m not familiar with a non-doctoral degree holding instructor receiving the title of professor. That’s … odd.
I’m not disparaging anyone who falls under the category she does, just scratching my head at her situation.
