I have wide feet. If I find a pair of shoes that I absolutely love, I’ll go ahead and buy another pair to have as an extra.

I had these shoes I really liked, styling and color scheme. Well they stopped making them and haven’t made anything similar since. So if I see a shoe I really like I tend to either buy it or buy two knowing in time when I might actually need a new shoe the one I want isn’t part of that year’s styles.

Guitar Pedals, guitars, amps, cabinets, microphones, custom guitar pick-ups, speakers for the cabinets, tubes for the amps,..basically anything guitar and recording related If I like it, I have 2 or more of it.

In addition to toiletries like shampoo and such, or basic clothing items like t shirts, pajamas or socks:

Bath mats and comforters. If I find the perfect color, size, etc. I buy two or three.

Microwave tea pot. Loved the size and convenience. Bought three. On the last one now.

Food items. I found a particular excellent cookie at a small grocery store on vacation. Had never seen it before. Bought four bags.

Anything that suits me but seems like it would be discontinued or hard to find later, I buy.
