That's why you have to read the Bible for yourself and not just some rote church liturgy.
Christianity is not a religion, it's a relationship. A personal one that no one stands between you and God on your behalf.

Wrong. It is written & directed by an Evangelical Christian, not a Protestant Christian denomination.

Yep, and Jesus Christ is the founder of Catholicism.

Spice it up however you want to but Evangelical Christianity is an offshoot of Protestantism.

Roger Williams (1603-1683) founded the Baptist church, John Wesley (1703-1791) founded the Methodist church, and Phineas F. Bresee (1838-1915) founded the Nazarene church.

Umm... same thing, for the most part?
I'm Southern Baptist... and we are Evangelical, most Reformed Presby's that I know are Evangelical, obviously the Evangelical Presbyterian Church...

and the first iteration of the catholic church was almost 100 years after Jesus was born, after anybody who had seen him was dead, what's your point?
I have 0 beef with the Catholic church and would much sooner attend one than the vast majority of modern woke, unrepentant protestant churches. But the Roman Catholic Church does not own the market on belief in Jesus and repentance of sin.

I certainly do NOT. But just out of curiosity, why would you think I might?

it was ineed due to your deleted comment. we have enough political crap on this board, so i wanted to head off a religious diatribe from myself as well.
all religions are formed by fallen, imperfect men and women striving towards Christ. i would be remiss to attack one and ignore another's faults.

Eh... I was just trying to be smarty/funny... it's in my nature. But thought better of it. I've also deleted the comment again.

I’m a cradle Catholic & my experience was the complete opposite. This portrayal is exactly the Jesus I was taught.
My family loves this series. I hope even more people get to view this wonderful portrayal of Jesus & the Bible.

Nope. You’re wrong. Below are religion founders:
Baptist - Roger Williams
Methodist - John Wesley
Judaism - patriarch Abraham
Mormonism - Joseph Smith
Nazarene - Phineas F. Bresee
Buddhism - Siddhartha Gautama
Muslim - Prophet Muhammad
