No. Basketball was only ever fun and meaningful under Dale. I’m not fricking old so I don’t remember that.

It was when they had someone who knew what a basketball was and how to play the game, instead of someone who thinks this is ball room dancing.FIRE MCMAHON NOW

I remember when it was fun and when it was awful. But I really don't ever remember it being nearly this bad.

Really has not been fun for 25 years with the exception of 2006. 1 and done has fricked college basketball in general.

A year ago we had lost 6 of our last 8 and this board was questioning whether Will Wade knows what he is doing.

I think the apex of the program in the past 5 years was the home game in 2019 when lsu beat Vanderbilt to win the regular season SEC title.

That game and the LSU vs top 5 Tennessee that went to overtime was fantastic too. The crowd was in a frenzy both times but the Joe Alleva hatred will always stand out to me. That ladies look of disgust behind Alleva is burned into my brain.

Hope you’re enjoying the 12 game skid. You know, the one with a loss to the worst Big 12 team at home, with 10 other losses by double digits.

You could be sitting here arguing about being 19-9 instead and what seed LSU could still get. Maybe Wade would have served a four game suspension.

Even under Jones it never felt this depressing, maybe his last year did but I at least knew he would probably get fired.

He’s right. Many people were questioning Wade as he seemed baffled by how to get the team to play decent and basically blamed it on Pinson being out. Imagine a whole season hinging on one player if the team falls apart. Murray and Eason weren’t enough to make up the difference. LSU could have just as easily had a terrible record last year if Pinson was out longer. The team was embarrassing in several games.

Wade was 4-4 in his last 8 at LSU and made the NCAA tourney with a team picked to finish 8th in the SEC last season. This years team was also picked 8th in the SEC and your hero McMahon has them threatening the worst conf record in program history. You couldn’t ask for a more clear contrast and comparison yet you idiots keep acting just like Pelini apologist.

Wrong, he wasn’t baffled and didn’t blame anyone but himself. In an interview he said it was his fault, that in the past couple years he hadn’t recruited enough front line depth so last year he did and it cost him depth at guard. You guys just make shite up, acting as if an NCAA tourney is a failure then turning around and excusing this garbage we’re watching now. Totally dishonest double standards.

You didn’t watch his interviews then. I didn’t say he blamed Pinson. He kept giving that as an excuse and repeatedly talked about how big of a difference it made with him out. Pinson’s team is 9-15 this season and he hasn’t missed a game.

Yes. I remember.
I have been following them since the Pete Maravich days and was a student during the Dale Brown days.
Fun times.
