Oklahoma
Ole Miss
Miss State

I would say Auburn, but you know they'll get Bama and Georgia. No way is LSU going to be their 3rd permanent opponent.

Bama will keep Tennessee and Auburn. I doubt LSU will be their 3rd team.

This for these 8 for sure
(Rivalry weekend)

OU, TX, Mizz, A&M
(OU/Mizz & UT/A&M)

LSU, Miss, Ole Miss, Arky
(Egg Bowl & LSU/Arky)

I’m not sure about the other 8 b/c not sure they would ever put Bama with Auburn, UGA & Tennessee, but how do you keep Bama w/ Auburn and Tenn and also keep Georgia/Auburn

Here is my attempt at the permanents for each school:

Alabama---LSU, Auburn, Tennessee
OU---Georgia, Texas, Arkansas
Georgia---OU, Florida, Missouri
LSU---Alabama, Texas A&M, Ole Miss

Florida---Georgia, Auburn, South Carolina
Auburn---Alabama, Florida, Mississippi St.
Texas---OU, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt
TexasA&M---LSU, Texas, Kentucky

Missouri---Georgia, Arkansas, Kentucky
Tennessee---Alabama, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt
Ole Miss---LSU, Tennessee, Mississippi St.
Arkansas---OU, Missouri, South Carolina

Mississippi St.---Auburn, Ole Miss, Kentucky
Vanderbilt---Texas, Tennessee, South Carolina
Kentucky---Texas A&M, Missouri, Mississippi St.
South Carolina---Florida, Arkansas, Vanderbilt

No Georgia v Tennessee annually, but some rivalries are going to go to a twice every four years schedule.

Who do you enjoy beating and hate losing to the most?

For me it's
Bama
FL
Toss up between Auburn & A&M

Ole Miss, Florida, and Arkansas is my guess. I think it will be 3 of Ole miss, Florida, Arkansas or A&M and I think Ole miss is almost a given.

Not sure if times played will factor in at all but here are a list of SEC teams by order of times they have played (not confined to SEC games) LSU.

Mississippi State - 116 games - 77-36-3
Ole Miss - 111 games - 65-42-4
Alabama - 87 games - 27-55-5
Florida - 69 games - 33-33-3
Arkansas - 68 games - 43-23-2
Texas A&M - 61 games - 35-23-3
Kentucky - 58 games - 40-17-1
Auburn - 57 games - 32-24-1
Tennessee - 34 games - 10-21-3
Georgia - 33 games - 18-14-1
Vanderbilt - 32 games - 24-7-1
South Carolina - 22 games - 19-2-1
Missouri - 3 games - 1-2-0

We for sure will get Texas A&M and Ole Miss and i think our third will be Ark or Miss St. The Austin American Statesman thinks our third could be Texas. Bama will get Auburn, Tenn, and nearby Miss St.

Spoken like the fan of a team whose traditional rivals all fizzled out as true rivals in the modern era. The Iron Bowl, Red River Shootout, World’s Greatest Outdoor Cocktail Party, etc. are all part of the landscape that sets college football apart from the NFL. You don’t just throw those away to support this money grab of expansion.

For reasons that only make sense to a casual onlooker of SEC 2024 and beyond alignment (even though most of us want alignment eliminated) would be to not allow more than one team permanently aligned out of any one state. That would send the TX, AL, MS and TN fans melting, but over time (decades) it would work its way out. Probably only the Iron-Bowl and Egg-Bowl would be the most impacted.

If I'm forced to pick three, it would be:

Ole Miss (natural rivalry);

Mississippi State (we've played them more than anyone I believe and, more times than not, it's a W);

Alabama or Auburn (I'd be happy with either - natural SEC West for with good history between both schools).

Don't push this SWC/Big 12 shite on me (A&M, Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, or Oklahoma).
